Great stay, good value
We took a couple of days to enjoy Rome after a cruise of the Greek Isles. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was quite large and comfortable, but it would have been nicer if it had actually been a queen mattress instead of twins pushed together. Thankfully we had our portable coffee maker because there wasn't anything in the room, other than a mini frig. The hotel restaurant was nice and the location was a block from the metro. Overall, a comfortable place to stay to take in all the sites. The price was reasonable in comparison to other hotels in Rome, which were quite pricey!

The hotel was nice and very well located. Maybe I was mistaken but I expected to have free wifi and and they charge like 15 euro a day. Also it was late May they claimed the Italian government wouldn't let them run the A.C. until June 1???? What's up with that? But the weather cooled off and it was tolerable.

great all around hotel
I have stayed at several hotels in rome and this is one of my favorite old world style hotels. The location is great. Its close to transportation and several major sites are within walking distance. The staff is helpful when needed. The breakfast was what was expected and more. I was satisfied with this hotel.

good location
The hotel is a step from Metro stop, 5 min from the main railway station. It is easy to find your way to all major sites. Rooms/bathrooms are a little outdated but clean and with a good airconditioning.

very reasonable
Get to sights early. Enjoyed walking everywhere rather than using the metro. Loved the Vatican--takes a whole day. Coliseum and Palantine hill is awesome-enjoy for a whole day too Take night walks by the Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Enjoyed day and evening walks there. Great vacation!! Pack lightly
