Finally a large shower!
Great price and breakfast, close to FCO.
This is a great place to stay if you are not trying to see the sights of the ancient city. You are too far from the Forum, Vatican City, etc. and the subway would require multiple stops getting there. My wife and I stayed here for one night before flying out of FCO. We had rented a car and traveled around for 3 weeks. Although within the loop, it is easy to find with a nice pool, extremely clean rooms, comfortable bed and large tub/shower. There is also a very nice large shopping mall located right next door. FCO airport was an easy 15 minute drive. If you are NOT intending to see the ancient city, this is a nice clean hotel and an excellent value.

Not a good location
The location of this hotel is awful unless you plan on spending all your time in the mall, which is right next to the hotel. This hotel is so far from the center of Rome that neither the Metro or the buses from downtown will go out that far. You have to switch to a bus that goes to the suburbs when you get to the second-to-last Metro stop (don't go to the last one). Make sure you pay attention when you're on the bus, because you can barely see the sign for the hotel before you get to the stop, and if you miss it, most of the buses get on the highway right after that stop so I have no idea where you will end up. The hotel staff attempts to tell you how to get to the Metro, but they give you poor directions. They tell you to cross a major intersection (which includes crossing a 6-lane highway) to get to downtown, when there is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel and a tunnel underneath the highway to the bus stop on the other side. I was shocked when I saw the hotel from the outside, I didn't think it was the right one because it looks like some cheap apartments from Miami in the 70s or 80s and this is supposed to be a 4-star hotel. The inside of the hotel is pretty nice, including the rooms, but I just couldn't believe that any self-respecting 4-star hotel would let the outside look like that. The pool was also closed and dirty, even though it is nice weather gets over 70 F most days by this time of year. The front desk staff were not particularly friendly either, although the other workers were nice the few times we interacted with them. The hotel also charges for wifi access, and I couldn't believe how much it was per day. Overall, it did end up being a nice hotel, and the mall next door is very nice as well, but there were a couple of factors that should lead you to look at other places before you stay here.

Short walk from hotel
There is a mall with a full grocery store and pharmacy right next to the hotel, so you can pick up some supplies there if you need them. Use the bus stops that are right in front of the hotel for the mall and take the 070, 705 and 709 buses to get to and from the metro instead of the ones they tell you at the front desk. The metro stop is EUR Fermi to switch to the buses.

Very Nice place
We arrived early and the room wasn't ready, so we wandered aimlessly around the area. Other than that, no complaints. The rooms were kept clean and the staff members were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was good and the dinners were excellent. My favorite feature was the towel heater in the bathroom.

Nice hotel but................
Unfortunately the only issue was the fact that I booked a room for 3 (myself and my two sons)and when we got into the room there was only one bed. Instead of giving us an available room down the hall with three single beds they separated the one bed into two twin beds and took the desk out of the room and crammed another twin bed into the room. It was done quickly. We were a bit tight but we survived the two nights we stayed there. Front desk staff was not all that friendly or helpful. The housekeeping staff were extremely nice and kept the rooms very clean. The hotel is close to the Grande Raccordo Annulare so access to the airport and other areas outside of Rome was excellent. It is also next to the new 3 story mall in EUR, supposedly the largest in Europe. EUR is worth visiting also.

Nice hotel, but far from city center
Summary : Its a decent hotel, but its far from the City center - to be precise, 10 stops from Roma Termini on Linea B, towards Laurentina, the name of the station is Eur Fermi. You have to take a bus from the metro station for about 5-10 min(buses are once in 15-20 min). So on an average it takes you about 45 min to get to the hotel from Roma Termini. It is right at the exit of a highway leading out (or in) of Rome. Not worth it, if you are staying for a short time. So in my opinion, it only works out for budget conscious visitors. It is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, but on first impression, it did not seem so (maybe I'm biased coz I compare it with a same-star hotel in the US) - it would be 3* at best I guess. But on the up side, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast (if not complimentary, at 7 euros) is value. The hotel has a restaurant with good food for good money. Rooms are clean although not very spacious. So bottom line is, its worth the money. Would recommend to budget travelers.

Great Hotel!!
The hotel is great. Don't believe what you read online from different reviews. The hotel is a bit outside of the center but it is really easy to get to the bus to EUR Fermi- busses-709, 777, 071. The bus stops are literally a block away. Great staff, good breakfast (more than just continental). Beautiful lobby and great bathrooms in room (huge tub, bidet and toilette)The beds are a bit hard, but that is standard for european hotels. There is a great balcony that is spacious for if you have company. Take my advise and stay here if you are trying to save some money. Its definately worth it.

Decent Hotel
It takes a fair amount of travel to reach this hotel from the central Rome train station. The nice part is it is right next to the largest mall in Rome. It has lot of food and great shopping.
