Reasonably good, but not perfect!
The hotel's location cant get any better if you are a first-timer tourist in Rome because you have termini station in 5 minutes walk, as well as a subway station right in front of your door. However, everything else about the hotel, i would give 4 out of 5 :(

A little complicated to arrive at our room but once there, it was fantastic and much larger than we had imagined. Concierge was most helpful and friendly. No one seemed to mind that we brought our morning coffee in from an outside restaurant where the prices were definitely "normal" for a beautiful cappucino. We did this every day for six days. Would return to the Exedra Boscolo

Beautiful
The Boscolo was amazing. Rooms with crazy high ceilings and cosy decorated bedrooms, definitely felt like a luxurious hotel. We visited a hotel that was 5 star down the street and did not compare to the Exedra. Its location is good too close to the colosseum. My boyfriend and I walked everywhere and both felt we couldn't have been in a better location We even walked to the vatican which was about a 30 min walk easy to find on the map. Do expect the prices to be high though around 23 euros for a pasta dish in the restaurant and 7 euros for a coke in the minibar. Close to many restaurants though (much cheaper, Macdonalds is next door haha!) to the corner of the hotel is a posh bar great food really affordable! I do suggest going there. The lobby is breathtaking, so lush! The lifts are posh too haha.

Room like prison cell
I had booked a 'superior room'. Upon arrival, I approached the reception letting them know that it was not only my first time at their hotel, but also in Rome and on top of that my birthday. I found myself in a prison cell like room with a wall infront my window , as a matter of fact completely surrounding my window so I could only see a bit of the sky and nothing else ! Who would expect that! That staff person who set me up like that clearly should not work there! poor service at reception!

Lovely hotel, needs better attention to detail
Had a lovely stay here, gorgeous hotel, fantastic location and amazing city. However a few gripes with the room, cracked mirror, two lampshades were mismatched, the large picture was bent, bath salts were not replaced after use, shower wasn't fully attached to the wall. Overall had little impact but all together it did leave us wondering what the other rooms were like (we stayed in a deluxe room.) breakfast and the bar was very nice if expensive but thats what you expect here. Staff were helpful if a little curt, but that is the italian way. Overall it is a great hotel, but could do with paying a little more attention to detail. Would stay here again.

Coaster and Culture holiday
A fantastic warm and friendly welcome greeted us within seconds of walking into this stunning hotel. The reception staff were of considerable help and even helped us practise our Italian language. The whole hotel including the rooms were spotless and of very high standard. The view from the swimming pool was just spot on and with a relaxing vibe was just the thing on hot hot days !!!!

Fabulous Rome getaway
The Exedra Boscolo is truly luxury and comfortable hotel. the hotel is placed by a metro station and in walking distance of many of Rome's famous sites. staff were always very professional, polite and helpful. The room was a comfortable place to retreat to after a tiring day site seeing. The roof terrace pool is small but a fabulous place too cool down at the end of the day. My only quibble would be that with 5 star hotel comes 5 star prices, which meant 7 euros for coke from the minibar or 35 euros for breakfast. I would certainly return to this hotel or stay at another in their chain of hotels.

average stay
staff and facilities are scored a pretty average rating. When deciding to book this hotel I thought that I would be extremely happy with my stay and everything it offered but it did not live up to my expectations as I found staff to be rude at times and the facilities available i found to be at a poor level, the minimal seating for the outside terrace was also annoying. I believe there are better hotels available for price

Great Luxury Hotel in the Perfect Location
This is a great luxury hotel right in the heart of Rome. You're close to everything including the Termini station, and almost every major attraction is a 15-35 minute walk. The hotel was very comfortable with an awesome staff. The rooms were larger and more comfortable then most I've seen (or heard of) in Rome. Maria and Marco were particular wonderful and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. All in all, this is a great hotel and worth the price if you're looking for extra comfort while traveling abroad on a special trip.
