Nice for the price.
After a little miscommunication at an early check-in, our hostess was very helpful in referring 2 great restaurants for our stay. Also, totally unexpectedly, breakfast was provided earlier than advised to us since we had morning tickets for the Vatican Musuem. Nothing fancy, but the service was very nice and friendly.

Great for low budget trips
The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the all bread breakfast. Otherwise this was a fantastic place to stay. It is located close to the metro, the colloseum, ATM's, and local shopping. The staff is friendly and the B&B is fairly priced. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would use this B&B again if we travel to Rome.

Money-saving tip:
Not Applicable
If you are going to use the metro 4 times or fewer it is cheaper to buy the one way tickets than it is to get an unlimited day pass. Plan ahead and you can save money on the metro. It is also cheaper to have taxis take you to metro stops than to destinations if you don't mind walking a bit so you can trim a lot of money off of taxi services by having them take you to the nearest metro and taking the train from there. Most places serve pizzas big enough to share, but most other entres are too small to share, so given the cost of food either take extra cash for food or plan to eat a lot of pizzas.

Definately NOT for e everyone and would NOT recommending
More like a hostel. Very noisey we didn't get hardly any sleep. We arrived late and no one was there to greet us. When we did get someone to answer the door she did not speak any English. Couldn't find any place to eat or get coffee. No office or kitchen area. Nothing. Clearly maker. People live there and are loud. I travel a lot as does my daughter who was with me. Neither of us would recommend this to the unseasoned travelers. Yes the metro is close but if you are not experienced it not a good option. Not close to anything long walk or taxi ride but no convient way to get a taxi. Would not feel safe going out at night as the neighborhood did not feel safe. Really felt trapped once we got back to our room paying more and staying closer

Trinity
This is not a luxury hotel, but if you are looking for an affordable and convenient place while you explore Rome, then it is great. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and the subway is to blocks away. You can easily walk to the Coliseum from the hotel. For this type of hotel I thought it was a good value. Bathroom was a bit challenging, but again, for the price it was good.

Needs improvement
We were stopping in Rome after 2 weeks in Tuscany for just an overnight before flying back to the US. The accommodations at Trinity B&B were pretty standard for this area. The rooms and hallways were very clean, and the staff was there to greet us upon arrival, explain the amenities, give us our keys, etc. In general, though, I do not think I got my money's worth (a total of $170 Euros for one night). That seemed a bit high. My strongest criticism -- and something that I assume could be corrected -- was the "breakfast" that we were served. There was no breakfast room; we were asked to select a time when the breakfast would be delivered to our room. It arrived on time. Included two microwaved croissants (pretty low quality), a stack of what we would call melba toast crackers, 2 small moderately warm cups of coffee, and 2 glasses of juice. Pretty sparse and not real tasty. I would sincerely encourage the owners/staff to improve what they call the "breakfast" part of this bed and breakfast.

Quiet B & B
Showers are poorly put together, leak. Breakfast just so-so. Neighborhood is a bit on the seedy side. Good restaurant across the street. Staff are friendly.

Not what we expected
Our group of 6 (between ages 60-70+) selected this establishment based on so many positive reviews, & for the weekend, the price was good. However, it was rather disappointing. Trinity is on the 2nd floor of an apt. bldg, there is no lobby; there is a small "lift" but you must go up 7 steps to get to it. There are 3 different keys - one for the outer door, one for the Trinity, and one for your room, which was a tad frustrating. The room was spacious, but the bathroom small & in poor condition. Breakfast is brought to your room between 8 & 10, consists of a half cup of coffee, glass of juice, toast, and some sort of pastry. The 2 young girls running the B&B were very pleasant and helpful, it just wasn't what we'd expected, and the location was in a rather run-down area; one nice restaurant within walking distance.

The location doesn`t get any better; the Metro station is 2 minutes by foot, the Colloseum 10 by foot, the Termini station 15 by foot. Get a day pass for the Metro and you save a lot of money and time. The room was kept clean every day, breakfast is served to you in the room at the time you choose, between 8 am and 10:30 am. The staff speaks english and is very helpful. I would return here for sure if I go back to Rome.

Short walk from hotel
But a 1 or a 3 day pass for the Metro, which is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. It saves a lot of money and time.

Perfect location!!
The B & B Trinity was in a perect location to see all of the sights. Less than half a block to the A line subway which takes you straight to the Vatican and other spots of interest. Also, just a short walk down the hill to the Colloseum where there were good restaurants and you could pick up the hop- on- hop off bus. The hotel had a large room with great towels and beds. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. The room was extremely clean. The room could have been more comfortable with a comfortable chair to sit in. Although not many hotels in Europe have these. The price was great.
