Visconti Palace Hotel Rome

This hotel was terrific, the staff were great, the breakfast was included in the price and there was a great variety to choose from...A great location, almost everything was within walking distance....would def come again

Within walking distance of many of Rome's most famous sites. A modern design with plenty of charm. The free breakfast was nothing fancy, but offered enough choices to get a hearty start to a day of sightseeing. The staff was friendly and helpful. We'll definitely stay there again.

What struck me first was how nice the lobby/ bar area was, all the staff was well dressed, however once you get passed that it was very average. There was no real info available such as where breakfast was served or even where to park your car, The desk sent me down to the parking garage but didn't tell me I needed a form so the attendant sent me back up wouldn't park the car, after a long drive it was a hassle I would not have expected at a 4 star hotel. The room was fine, there were loose tiles in the bathroom and the vent fan was not working, the cover and filter fell off. The carpet was stained and faded, these were not expected in a 4 star. All in all I found this hotel average and way overpriced. I would not stay here again.

We stayed here for a long weekend at the beginning of June. We found the design of the hotel to be modern, clean and welcoming. It doesn't look fabulous from the outside but the interior finish is good and that is what is important! The staff were polite and welcoming, giving us a map of the area and explaining how to get around. Some guests were extremely rude to the staff (something I noticed of a lot of tourists in Rome) but I found that a smile and trying a little Italian really helped. We had a standard double room which was decently furnished with all of the things you might reasonably require. The bathroom was a little worn but perfectly clean and functional. The breakfast buffet was standard hotel fare but with a good range and exactly as I have experienced all over Europe. The outside patio is nice for a drink with some decent background music and attentive staff (and very patient for tolerating the rude tourists!). Location-wise the hotel is good. We walked all of the city in 2 days and did not find the trek back to be too arduous. The only real niggle was that the walls between rooms are slightly thin. It didn't disturb my sleep (I am a light sleeper) but I can imagine that if someone in another room made a lot of noise there is the potential for a problem. There was no outside noise that I noticed. All in all, I got exactly what I expected from the hotel in a city that is notoriously expensive. A decent breakfast with a good sleep in comfortable surroundings.

Die Engelsburg und den Petersdom sind um die Ecke, andere Sehenswürdigkeiten in kurzer Erreichbarkeit - auch zu Fuss - einfach eine tolle Ausgangslage für einen Rom Urlaub. !!! für Rom eine sehr ruhige Lage!!!!

You get what you were expecting in a four star European hotel. But the best is location: you can reach Vatican, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, etc all in 15 min walk. Rooms are fine and with connecting doors suitable for families.

super hotel pour visiter Rome petit déjeuner excellent ,personnel sympa, bien situé , chambres et salle de bain parfait

Si vous aimez visiter les villes à pied, l'emplacement de l'hôtel est excellent. Uniquement le Colisée est un peu trop éloigné. L'hôtel est confortable, dans une rue calme. Quant au buffet du petit-déjeuner, il est très varié. Seul bémol, le salle du petit-déjeuner est au sous-sol. Même si le décor a été bien pensé, c'est un peu triste.

Vom Hotel sind alle Stadtteile am Tiber bestens zu Fuß zu erreichen. Kein Auto erforderlich. Shuttel-Bus nicht weit vom Hotel. Das Hotel und die Zimmer selbst sind modern ausgestattet. Das Bad im Zimmer ist ok. aber nicht top. Trotz Innenstadt gibt es auf der Dachterrasse und im Hof schöne Möglichkeiten im Freien zu sitzen. Frühstück und Essen gut. Hotel würden wir immer wieder buchen.
