The complex is made up of: a 4-star hotel, an apartment wing, a Congress Centre and a Sports centre. The position near the sea just outside the town centre guarantees our guests all the advantages to be gained from being near to the centre in terms of business, culture, and shopping while at the same time enjoying the peace of being close to nature. The hotel offer amenities like Airport transfer, bar, banquet facilities, hairdresser, business center, concierge, conference facilities, disabled facilities, doctor on call, dry cleaning, gift shop, gym, internet access wireless, laundry service, lift / elevator, lobby, non smoking rooms, parking, pets allowed, reception, restaurant, room service, safe deposit box, swimming pool-outdoor, tennis court and tour desk. Breakfast included.

American Bar
The American Bar is the place to enjoy an excellent Italian coffee while savouring one of the delicious breakfast pastries. Our guests can choose from a long list of cocktails, long drinks, spirits and digestives watching some TV in the spacious air-conditioned lounge, or taking advantage of the free Wi-Fi connection, either inside or sitting at one of the tables on the outside terrace.
Restaurants
The Hotel Setar has the Sa Pingiada main restaurant with a gazebo right next to the swimming pool, an "a la carte" restaurant and the Kontiki pizzeria with a barbecue and terrace overlooking the pool. The Complex also have numerous reception rooms which are the perfect setting for organising all kinds of events like banquets, ceremonies and gala dinners.
Breakfast Room
The Hotel's Breakfast Room has a panoramic terrace overlooking the Golfo degli Angeli Bay, so take your time and enjoy a leisurely breakfast in this calm and peaceful atmosphere. From the window you will get a stupendous view of the whole bay which stretches out before your eyes. Ask the friendly staff for a cappuccino, sample some sweet or savoury delicacies from our buffet, give yourself a "healthy" start to the day with yogurt, muesli, cereals and a fruit juice: this is the Setar's way of saying Buongiorno!

The Setar Hotel Complex is well-equipped to meet the needs of our most demanding clients for business, incentives & conventions, thanks to the excellent standard of its spaces, equipment and hospitality. . It is the perfect place to host business trips, company meetings, international level exhibitions, press conferences and product and service presentations. The 18 rooms in the Congress Centre offer modular spaces which can cater for up to 2500 guests in total(900 in the bigger room) and boast state-of- the-art audio-video equipment. Congress services also include Business Centre facilities with secretary's office, photocopying service, fax and computers and we can also provide catering and banqueting services.

Beware

From the moment that we were dropped off at this location we were uncomfortable. We selected this place based on the descriptions and photographs on line, but were sorely disappointed. The place looked old and dirty, the paint was peeling off the exterior walls. It was deserted and only a few rooms had guests in them. None of us felt safe enough to stay and so we decided to find a different place to stay. The Hotel staff was very helpful in helping us find a new location and cancelling the room charge.

Quiet, anonymous hotel

Quiet, anonymous hotel 15 km from downtown Cagliari (and about 4 km from the beach). Public transportation (unexpensive, 6€ for a weekly pass in summer)is available (about 45 min to/from Cagliari) but the service is not provided the entire night. Room was good (score for us: three stars and 1/2) with a nice terrace but no bathtub. Service was OK with friendly staff but not very numerous. Nice pool but remember to take a cap with you because it's required. Good breakfast buffet.
