Nous avions une chambre dans l'annexe de l'hôtel (à 100 m environ) : au 4eme étage avec ascenseur. Belle chambre, bonne literie... seul point négatif douche étroite avec manque de pression. Nous allions à l'hôtel principal pour le petit déjeuner : belle salle donnant sur un petit canal et beaucoup de choix aussi bien en sucré qu'en salé.
Petit conseil pour rejoindre l'hôtel en sortant de l'aéroport : prendre la navette bateau "alilaguna", ligne orange et descendre à l'arrêt "Rialto", puis emprunter la petite ruelle "Bembo" juste en face de l'arrêt et en maxi 5 mn vous êtes à l'hôtel.

Hotel trés bien situé entre la place Saint Marc et le pont du Rialto. Les chambres sont minuscules et trés mal isolées phoniquement.
Hotel inaccessible aux water-taxis contrairement à ce que dit le site web de l'hotel.

Hôtel de très bon niveau, bien placé avec des chambres confortables et bien décorées. Petit déjeuner complet et varié dans un très beau salon. Environnement très calme et personnel accueillant et compétent.
Un seul bémol sur la douche dont l'installation aurait besoin d'être revue. Pour le reste, rien à redire. Nous étions dans une annexe de l'hôtel qui se trouve sur la place ce qui nous donnait l'impression de loger en appartement et c'est bien agréable !

Bon sejour qqe regrets sans grand importance eu egard a la crise et au reste.. donc chambre un peu petite ( manque de rangement pour un sejour d'une semaine ) et petit dejeuner un peu basic et sans aucune originalité

ocation of the hotel was good, just a few blocks from St Marks square. The breakfast was good, good service and food.
We had upgraded to a Jr Suite, it was a nice size room with hardwood floor and good furnishings.
Internet service was poor.

Hotel à 2 pas de la place Saint-Marc et accessible en bateau taxi. Nous avions une très belle chambre spacieuse (ce qui est rare à Venise). Le personnel est compétent et agréable. Hélas pas de wi-fi dans notre chambre nous avons du aller au Dona-Palace? Il manque simplement un coin détente. Très bon rapport qualité-prix, à recommander

Lage: Das Hotel liegt im schönen und ruhigen Viertel Cannaregio. Nach dem Tagestrubel kann man endlich den Tag ausklingen lassen und die leckeren und noch günstigen Restaurants nutzen.
Hotel: Es ist sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Zimmerservice ist einem 4Sterne-Haus entsprechend. Die Rezeption ist sehr bemüht, in allen Sprachen. Sie kann jederzeit mit Tipps dem Gast beiseite stehen.
Ein Highlight im Hotel ist das Frühstücksbuffet. Hut ab für diese Auswahl zu diesem Preis. Einzigste Enttäuschung war die 6€ teure Frühstücksbox, die wir aufgrund der frühen Abreise geordert haben. Finger weg und das Geld in der nächsten Bäckerei ausgeben.

personnel très sympathique, disponible et de bon conseil.
l'emplacement de l'hotel est un tout petit peu excentré par rapport aux emplacements plus touristiques mais néanmoins accessible par les bateaux bus depuis l'arret de St Alvise (3min à pied). ne surtout pas prendre de poussette car il y a une multitude de ponts envisager donc un sac à dos ou alors une poussette très facile à soulever.

Great location, uncomfortable bedding

The location is great, close to San Marco Square. The staff was polite, helpful and attentive AND the free breakfast (which was not advertised at the time of my booking) was a nice continental spread. My only complaint was the bedding, the mattress was hard as cardboard and the pillows were the same. The staff provided extra pillows on our request, but more of the same stock. However, after speaking with three other travelers in the airport (we were all bumped from our flight), they had the same experience with their hotels. I would go back to this hotel, but bring my own pillow.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 days at the Marconi. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly at all times. The room, although no canal view was large and comfortable with a well equipped bathroom. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and the dining room staff couldn't have been more organized and helpful. Over all a great place to stay with or without a large family in a wonderful central location.

This hotel is located so central that it does not get any better. Highlights are all in walking distance. The hotel room was small but offered everything we needed. The breakfast was more than sufficient. The Staff was formal.

accueil très bien et en francais .
nous avions reserve une chambre double de luxe avec vue sur la lagune. A notre arrive il nous on propose une annexe a 2 minutes de l'hotel sur le meme quai pour le meme prix.
Suite avec 2 chambres et salon privé et une personne a votre disposition pour le petit déj.
vraiment trés bien.
je conseille vivement cet hotel.

The value and location of main hotel was fine but there is a new additon to the hotel that is actually behind the main hotel and across the road. Since it is detached from the main bldg, you must go outside to access the lobby or restaurant. The rooms in new section are nicer than main building and staff is very nice and was very accommodating and helpful. Base of new building is a little musty, kind of like a basement feeling.

The rooms in this hotel are quite small but I was impressed with how clean they were. The staff was helpful. The breakfast provided substantial options compared to other hotels in the area. I like to do yoga while traveling but the room didn't have any floor space. The hotel has air-conditioning which was a real bonus. There is no room service or hotel restaurant. There's a mini-bar in the room. The hotel is right off Piazza San Marco but can be hard to find. Be prepared to get lost.

Fantastic Venice Location

The Residenza d'Epoca Ca'Favretto is a 400 yr old residence that sits directly on the Grand Canal of Venice. Breakfast was included in this stay and was quite good and catered to both American and European tastes. The rooms were comfortable and pleasantly adorned. Regardless of the number of maps you have, be prepared to get lost in Venice and enjoy that part of the adventure

hotel correct, personnel très accueillant serviable, par contre la carte du menu,du restaurant est seulement en Italien, dommage pour une chaine d'hôtel de ce type, tout devrait être écrit en plusieurs langues.

Hotel is in great location. Quick wallk from train station. Hotel is very clean and in quiet area also close to water bus landing. Unfortunately today and yesterday the water busses were on strike so we put on many miles walking over 80% of the Island. It almost seemed like a blessing because it forced us to go out of our way and say many of the bueatiful museams and churches off he beaten path.
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Only wish was that wireless was available in rooms and not mjust in the bar area.
Staye here many years ago and would definately stay here again. Ciao BABY!

L'emplacement de l'hotel est ideal, le petit dejeuner est copieux et varier, le personnel tres sympatique, la chambre tres bien.

Das Hotel liegt nicht weit vom Bhf. entfern, gute fussläufige Erreichberkeit aller Sehenwürdigkeiten der Stadt.
Habe 100 Euro p.N. u.P bezahlt, finde, dass es ein bisschen zu viel für ein 3Stern-Hotel, aber wahrscheinlich für Venedig zur Osterzeit ist es normal. Alle anderen Angebote lagen viel höher.
Daher ich bin sehr zufrieden geblieben.

Two night stay pre-cruise. High cost for a quite small room was offset by a very friendly and helpful staff, scrumptious continental breakfasts, and location just steps from all modes of transportation. No need to drag luggage all over creation (just one small bridge). Possibly the world's smallest elevator made us smile. (Luggage was brought up stairs by bellman.) Access to the computer and printer in the lobby sitting area was very convenient and helpful. Don't miss the private garden for a few minutes of relaxation.

We just spend one night at this hotel and it was perfectly located close to the Cruise station, walking distance. If you are going in a cruise this is a great option, if you want to be in Venice, then it is NOT.

Séjour très agrèable,hôtel bien placé proche de la plazia roma . Donc pas de valise a porté dans les ruelles et les nombreux ponts.
Accès rapide au centre de Venise.(pont Rialto et Palais des Doges).
Hotel calme et personnel vraiment très disponible , souriant ,serviable et soucieux de notre confort.

We have stayed at this hotel before, so we knew what we could expect. The Papadopoli hotel has very comfortable beds. The deluxe rooms were nicely furnished, and have good bathrooms. The hotel dining room serves a good breakfast (25 Euros), and the bar is a great place to relax after a big day of sightseeing. The Papadopoli is on a small canal, and is next to the Papadopoli Gardens. It is also close to Piazzale Roma where there is a taxi stand on the Papadopoli Gardens side. A regular taxi from Piazzale Roma took us across the causeway, and right to the new airport terminal entrance. The water taxi, and vaporetto docks are a long, long walk from the airport terminal. We took a water taxi to the hotel, and although it is a romantic way to reach the hotel, the regular cab from Piazzale Roma was easier on the feet.

The apartment was in a great location close to Rialto bridge and San Marco square. Gondolas would pass by your window all day, though it was still quiet and relaxing. Staff was very nice and spoke english, they brought breakfast during cleaning. Breakfast would include milk, juice, prosciutto, cookies, jam filled croissants, bread, nutella, and bread. Wifi was also very fast and we were able to show video chat with our family back home so they can see the gondolas.

Pour ce prix d'hotel, on aurait aimé une douche qui fonctionne mieux (pas de pression, juste un filet d'eau tiède) et des lits moins durs avec des draps qui bordent. Bref, c'est un hotel très bien placé mais pas très bien géré dans les détails...

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in May 2012. It's very well located being 5 mins from St Marks Square and 5 mins from the vaporetto stop of St Angelo. The hotel is clean and rooms nice with good bathrooms. Bed was a bit hard. Staff very helpful except on the last day when we asked for morning coffee prior to a 6.30 am departure. It never materialised!. The breakfast was pretty poor with no hot food or even a toaster and no fruit. It wouldn't take much to make it a lot better. Overall a nice hotel in an excellent location

Easy to get to with public transportation - service there were great - comfy, larger room with a balcony and a breeze. Staff was friendly and helpful. Real nice breakfast spread for guests. Bathrooms were large and clean. Wife and I were happy with it. It's on a cute island area just a few mins (bus) from alot of shops and great restaurants. Nice pathway access for joggin, biking or walking along the adriatic sea. Only bad part was that we had to buy swim caps to utilize the pool - ha ha...

Good value for the convenience

My husband and I were visiting Venice for only a day and we would be lugging around our suitcases, too, so the close proximity to the Santa Lucia train station worked out in our favor. We would have preferred to be more central to where the shops were, but it would have been a complete pain to drag our luggage over several mini-bridges (Venice is full of them) and those mini-bridges are all stairs. We just left our luggage at the hotel, which was literally across the canal, and we walked to the tourist sites, which took maybe 15 minutes (if you didn't get lost in all the mini alleys).
The hotel was clean, definitely not new, but served it purpose. It had no elevator so you had to bring your luggage up the stairs, but not a big deal for anyone not minding the climb. Our room was huge, with three beds, and the bathroom was stocked with a ton of fresh towels. It looked out over the water with two big windows that also brought in lots of sunlight. I'd def stay here again because it was a great value for Venice, which is really expensive!

This is a quaint little hotel... once you find it! If you arrive by plane, take the bus not the vaperetto, then tale two small bridges... and wa la.. Google map it! We were lost adn wanderign for 2hrs, even the police were useless in giving directions. Internet is only avaible in the lobby. Breakfast was a buffet stil, with Americano coffee(btw McD serves americano coffee)
