A tax has been imposed by the city for stays beginning 1 October 2012, and will be collected directly at the property. The tax ranges from EUR 1 to EUR 5 per person, per night. Hotel in great Location close to San Marco square Staff polite and friendly , always ready to help . Room lovely and warm , very clean Breakfast Buffet , very good , plenty of choice Also Bar inside Hotel handy , staff very friendly and Pleasant . Very Misleading
There were only two things that were good about this hotel: the staff was very responsive and the location was great. And yes, there was a view of the canal from our room. Everything else was a huge disappointment. The pictures on the website did not remotely match our room. I feel totally mislead. The decor was very tacky and not up to good standards. The rooms closeby were the same as I was able to get a quick glimpse as I walked by. The breakfast was a huge disappointment - the same mediocre offerings each day that we were there. The only thing that was four star was the price. I feel that we were grossly mislead and grossly overpaid for this hotel.

great place to stay
staff was very attentive. room was fabulous. view of canal. only moments away from san marco square. close to everything. food, banks, shopping. great breakfast. even left a to go bag for us because we have to check out before breakfast. would stay here again.

Not Good Value
Had a room for three which allowed us a view of the canal. That was the best part of the experience. Woke up in the morning to the trash boat dumping bottles and BEDBUGS in our beds! We were all bitten and disgusted with the room. The staff arranged for another room but...good luck having a full night of sleep after that experience.

Stay here in Venice!
We had a great stay at All'Angelo recently. Although on arrival our room on the fifth floor was very hot because the air conditioning was turned off, it was handled quickly. We got great service from the front desk with dinner reservations, recovering a missing bag (our fault) and coordinating our water taxi ride to the airport. Great location near St. Marks Square.

we couldn't have been more delighted.
we couldn't have been more delighted. our entire stay in venice was above and apart any place we experienced during our european cruise get-away. albergo all' angelo had top location, staff and prime facilities.

Parfait pour séjour économique
Nous avons passé 3 jours dans cet hôtel pour le lancement du Carnaval 2013. L'hôtel est idéalement situé à 2 rues (50 m de la place Saint-Marc. Le personnel est très agréable et serviable et toujours prêt à vous donner les renseignements dont vous vous avez besoin. Nous avons même eu droit à un guide qui nous a conduit à travers le dédale de Venise jusqu'à un petit bateau au pied du Rialto pour nous emmener visiter pendant presque 2 heures une fabrique et une salle d'exposition à Murano avec un guide rien que pour nous sans nous forcer aucunement à la vente... Le tout entièrement gratuitement et avec le sourire ! Le petit déjeuner est copieux est de bonne qualité - ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas en Italie. Attention, ne pas oublier de prévoir 4€/jour/personne pour la taxe de séjour - non compris dans la réservation mais Venise réserve beaucoup de surprises de ce type ! Radins s'abstenir.... La chambre était simple et l'équipement dans un état correct - pour un hôtel de ce niveau de prix - mais au calme, bien insonorisée et correctement climatisée et des petites friandises toujours déposées durant vos absences qui font un petit plaisir supplémentaire à votre retour... après celui d'enlever ses chaussures ! Ne pas hésiter à y aller si vous préférez dépenser votre argent dans les restaurants ou sorties plutôt que dans un confort dont vous n'aurez pas le temps de profiter - l'intérêt de Venise à cette période n'étant pas dans la chambre d'hôtel.

Attention, à Venise (comme parfois encore en Italie), beaucoup de restaurants ne précisent pas (ou en petit sur la carte une fois installés) que la table vous sera facturé en + (2,50 à 3€ par personne). Nous avons même eu la très mauvaise surprise d'un restaurant qui majorait la carte de 12% pour le service en + de la table. Les bouteilles sont débouchées très vite avant que vous n'ayez vu leur prix - pas de carafes d'eau non plus...et certains affichent à l'extérieur des menus attrayants du midi alors que le soir c'est à la carte ! Lorsque vous sentez la fumée, n'hésitez pas à quitter le restaurant car la note peut-être très salée ! Pour 2 pizzas, un apéritif, une petite bouteille d'eau, un bouteille de vin - rarement des 1/2 bouteilles dans la carte, 2 petits desserts : 105 € ! La bouteille était à 45€ alors que le serveur nous avait embrouillés sur une bouteille à 24€... Malgré ma femme qui est pourtant italienne ! Il était très bon néanmoins (Montalcino 2010) mais véritablement amer quand même.

C'est un hotel trés bien situé avec du personnel trés serviable et a l'écoute. En plus, ils font le maximum pour parler en Francais. Les chambres sont propres et trés corrects. Je le conseille trés vivement

très bon séjour
l’hôtel est très bien placé, est au pied de la place saint marc, le personnel est très agréable. C'est un 4 étoiles mais qui vaut un 2 étoiles en France, ça nous a pas empêché de passer un excellent séjour!!! petit déjeuner bien copieux! Sur place, nous avons pu visiter tout Venise à pied, fait les îles Murano et Burano(magnifique île) sur 4 jours! les poussettes sont à éviter!! un petit conseil pour ceux qui aiment les musées, il propose un forfait de 11 musées pour 20 euros (dont le musée correr, le palais des doges, la bibliothèque...), on aurait aimé le voir plus vite mais trop tard! n'hesiter à rentrer dans les églises, elles sont magnifiques.

pour les restos, éviter les emplacements où il y en a beaucoup, essayer d'aller un peu dans les petites rues vous serez très étonnez de l'ambiance qui peut y avoir (près de l’hôtel le restaurant planete est excellent!) ne soyez pas étonné, le service n'est pas compris, ils prennent soit 10 voir 12% de la note soit 3 euros par personne...
