Needs a bit of moderisation
The hotel was comfortable, clean, and easy to get to. The staff was not friendly and not informative when asked where to go out and to eat. Breakfast was not good at all (not worth eating). Decore and furniture old and depressing. Hotel needs modernisation. Not worthy of 4 star rating. More like 3 star at best. Would not stay there again.

Local eating near this hotel is all the same, very boring and not very good. Make the trip to the main island (San Marco), for nicer places to eat and only snack or lunch neer the hotel.

Great value hotel, but...
Whilst there the hotel was very clean, spacious and had a wonderful breakfast! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was superb especially if you get the water bus pass. However, on our return we realised that we had left something valuable in our room and when I rang, the staff fobbed me off 4 times asking me to call back and really weren't interested. It was our fault but they gave off the attitude they couldn't care less. A disappointing end to a really great holiday.

Cozy quarters at the Lido
Considering how difficult getting around in Venice is, the Lido is actually a good choice. Le Bouvlevard has well appointed public areas and rooms. This however, was the smallest room of the 5 hotels on my 3 week trip. Least favorite breakfast and least favorite shower of any of the hotels I stayed at. Everytime I showered, a major mess resulted. But, warm and clean, with a variety of languages featured on TV. Interestingly, I stayed at 3 3 star hotels, and 2 4 star hotelss and liked all the 3 star hotels better.

Zu viel erwartet?
Nichtraucherzimmer stinkte nach Rauch, so dass wir umziehen mussten (was uns auch anstandslos ermöglicht wurde - Pluspunkt). Zimmer waren beide (!) sehr dreckig, staubig (Bett war ok). Dass das WiFi kostet, fand ich persönlich eine Abzocke, aber scheint normal zu sein.

Good Bargain
In the whole I liked this hotel. The breakfast was above average for Italian customs (not to be compared to German for example) but to order the coffee separately because the one from the machine is not really the italian short of coffee.

Gutes Hotel für einen Kurzurlaub
Die Lage ist optimal - auf halbem Wege zwischen Schiffsanlegestelle (direkte Verbindung in die Altstadt und zum Flughafen) und einem öffentlichen Strand, jede Menge Geschäfte und Restaurants herum. Das Frühstück ist ordentlich, nach lokalen Maßstäben zu urteilen. Die Zimmer sind recht klein, mit Zusatzbett wird es richtig eng. Die Ausstattung ist etwas karg und in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber. Fazit: empfehlenswert für eine kurze Städtereise, aber nicht für einen längeren Aufenthalt.

petit déjeuner
Le petit déjeuner n'est pas à la hauteur (jus de fruits = eau, confiture, yaourt très chimiques ainsi que les croissants sans parler de l'omelette (poudre d'oeuf). La chambre était petite pour un quatre * et choc le lit pour deux personnes était en fait deux lits d'une personne rapprochés. le lit double n'existe pas dans cet hôtel). Le personnel est très bien.

Très bons souvenirs de notre séjour
A signaler le professionnalisme de Lucas, réceptionniste. Hôtel très bien desservi par les navettes vaporetto. A recommander sans problème.

Bien situé, impersonnel
Entre les plages du Lido et l'arrêt du Vaporetto pour Venise, la situation est idéale, restaurants et commerces à proximité immédiate. Nous avions réservé une chambre à trois lits qui n'était pas prête à notre arrivée. Un lit supplémentaire a dû être rajouté dans une chambre minuscule alors que l'hôtel en avait de plus grandes. La chambre était sale, poussière et cheveux agglomérés sous les lits.
