The Panorama Hotel, located at Venice Lido, in front of the beautiful Venetian lagoon, is an historical building from the beginning of the century. It offers its Visitors hospitality and welcome in the incomparable background of the St. Mark basin and of the Venice lagoon. Venice Lido provides Hotels and seaside resorts and also offers its guests innumerable attractions and amusement. The Lido of Venice Island is known as "the Golden Island" for the beauty of its very fine sand beaches praised from Byron to Shelley from Goethe to Thomas Mann. The hotel offers Airport transfer, Baby sitting service, Bar, Disabled facilities, Dry cleaning, Internet access - Wireless, Laundry service, Lobby, Non-smoking rooms, Reception, Room service, Safe deposit box and Tour desk. All the costs include breakfast.

A tax has been imposed by the city for stays beginning 1 October 2012, and will be collected directly at the property. The tax ranges from EUR 1 to EUR 5 per person, per night. The amount has been determined by the local administration, depends on the star rating of hotel and the season of travel. This tax does not apply from the 6th consecutive night of stay onwards, to residents of Venice City and children under 10 years of age. Please note that further exemptions may apply. Venice carnaval

extremely friendly, competent and helpful staff, breakfast buffet that will sustain you for most of the day, till you get your first snack in one of the many little cafes, what about a light over the writing desk? great location, just opposite the vaporetto , lots of good restaurants nearby, fantastic view across the lagoonto the Piazza St. Marco, 10 mins to the sandy beach, we found Venice , especially restaurants ,cheaper than where we live, the Lido insula is maybe even cheaper. Love to come back and stay at the same place

Terrific Location and Hospitality

If one doesn't actually need to stay in venice island itself then hotel panorama on lido ideal choice. You can be St. Marks in 10/15 min by regular ferry taxi whose stop is just across the hotel! Best feature of hotel besides location is the very friendly and helpful staff. Unpretentious, clean, small air-con'd hotel - maybe no pool/ tea maker etc but what a terrific terrace view! If possible upgrade to front rooms or suite with two balconies overlooking lagoon for a great view. Restaurants and nice beach all nearby - ideal base to explore venice in my case twice daily and return for relaxing beer / wind-down after hectic crowded day in venice itself. If extra day free the hotel can lay on a free visit to glass foundry on murano island but need to make own way back via ferry, can buy small item gift shop at end if don't want to spend £1000's in showroom! Free continental breakfast though no hot food - selection more than sufficient to sustain you till lunchtime. Get ferry pass for full duration of stay from across the road otherwise costs add up - take extra care with kids as noticed most pier stops hardly any barriers to water edge. All in all we were happy with our stay and the hotel staff and location much appreciated.

VENICE TRIP

We moved to Panorama from a hotel in Venice, since the prior hotel was filthy. Lido is a very nice island with a mediteranean feel, muck more appealing then Venice. I would recommend to stay in any hotel in Lido, rather then Venice. The travel from Lido to Venice is very easy, there are shuttle boats every 10 minutes, the trip takes less then 10 minutes.

''Fantastic"

The hotel location was perfect, the staff were most helpful and friendly.The room although a little small it was spotlessly clean and serviced to a high standard each day.I would not hesitate booking this hotel again. Excellent.

Some very good restaurant's close to the hotel,and the vaporetto stop was right in front of the hotel, it could not have been better.

Plus 3 que 4 étoiles, mais idéalement

Plus 3 que 4 étoiles, mais idéalement situé face aux vaporetto => direct place Saint Marc. Bon petit déjeuné. Service "voiturié", mais la proximité avec les vaporetto permettent de laisser la voiture aux parkings, ou de venir en train. Franchement plus pratique qu'un hotel au centre de venice.
