Royal Decameron Montego Beach - All Inclusive Rooms

- Garden View Room offers one king bed and a sofa bed, along with Air conditioning, Alarm clock, Cable / Satellite TV, Ceiling fan, Color TV, Ensuite / Private bathroom, Hairdryer, Iron / Ironing board, Radio, Safe in room *** fees apply and Telephone. Garden View rooms are ground floor or second floor walk up - no elevator. Garden View Rooms have no balcony or patio and no view of the water. They are approximately 200 square feet (18.5 square meters)in size.

Student in Need of Vacay
Excellent hotel for the price
I loved the hotel. It is so convenient to the airport (5mins away) and right on the popular hip strip (5 min walk to Margaritaville). The staff was amazing and kind beyond belief! The nightly entertainment was truly entertaining and lively with great audience participation. Food was so-so. Would definitely come back again!

Great Time
I had a great time. the only problem I had was they not have my reservation at the hotel when we got there and we had to wait till they could confirmed that we had reservations(which took about an hour)

Great location, fantastic employees, beautiful resort!
Although this may not be the newest or fanciest resort in Jamaica, it has the best location and the people that work there are wonderful! The bartenders work hard to keep you replenished, the grounds are beautiful... right on the ocean! Right out the door is the hip strip, no need for taxi service. Overall, this is a great place to stay.... 5 stars!

Great Location (Near Hip Strip, Pelican Restaraunt, Margaritaville, MBJ Airport, etc), Friendly Staff, Good Food (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner), Great Activities...Best Bang for the Buck!!!

Fun Trip
The Royal Decameron Hotel is a great value for the money. The location is great. All rooms are ocean view and the hotel is literally right on the water. The staff is all very friendly and welcoming. The drinks and amenities were good. The food was not very satisfying but that is to be expected at a budget all inclusive. All in all it is a good deal for the money spent.

Great resort
Great resort - all the staff were great and the food excellent - the location perfect. Great snorkeling right off the beach, two small walk in beaches were OK, large man made boardwalk beach was fine. Beware they try to move people to Runaway Bay - so you may not end up where you book.

To get attention from the staff you need to be very insistant and then you may get some. Would be very helpful to have a map of the resort and some description of nature/location of amenities, not a cheap photocopy with almost nothing on it.

You better be careful !!
We booked at Royal Decameron Montego Bay 6 months in advance, reconfirmed 10 days before departure. Upon arrival we were told we did not have a room and we would be transferred to another resort over one hour away. Don't waste your time trying to argue with them, it's their scam and their way of getting people into their other property in the middle of nowhere. My wife and I were looking forward to enjoying Montego Bay and beaches to the west, but now that was out of the question. We discovered that many of the people at resort #2 also got the same treatment. If you want to enjoy Montego Bay, this place is a roll of the dice !! BE CAREFUL !!
