The crystal blue Caribbean Sea serves as a backdrop to a host of accommodations for every taste and budget. Majestically situated, our signature twin towers - Sunrise and Sunset - are home to 300 rooms and suites. Nestled among its own tropical gardens, the charming Beach Inn offers an additional 130 spacious rooms. The resort features include deluxe air-conditioned accommodations with a private balcony, all meals and beverages, choice of non-motorized water sports, air-conditioned gym. Pure Awesomeness! =o)
Location, Location, Location! The resort was only 15-20mins from airport. Which meant that we had a drink within an 1hr of arriving to Montego Bay. The beach was breathtaking. The staff is super super nice. The room was very clean. The food was good. Overall a very good experience. We did a couple of the activities, Horse Back Riding and Zip-Line. Highly recommend both!

Short drive from hotel
Chukka Activities - Horse Back-riding and Zip-Line! Short Drive. Take cash to tip (which is big - few dollars) and for Pictures! Is almost impossible to take pics with your camera because the nature of the activities, so you will need to purchase the pics they take of you, which can be expensive, but is worth it! =o)

FANTASTIC for everything! with friends, honeymoon and family.
I love sunset beach resort.. everybody is so friendly and nice.. they always smile and the food was great! t'was fast service especially the booze! the resort is close to everything like activities, we are the last to pick up and first to drop off.. so you don't have to wait that long.. at night it was fun because they have activities for everybody like games and they have like mini concerts too! it's like a big family. shopping and clubs are close too! i will definitely coming back! love it! i don't know what else to say.. :)

Wonderful Weekend
We were there for a destination wedding and we had a blast. The service was great and the food was amazing. The personnel was extremely friendly and they really contributed in making us feel at home. The restaurants, buffet and grill were perfect and the bars were everywhere. I never had so much Rum Punch in my life. The pools were great and we are already planning to go back in the summer with the kids who we are sure are going to enjoy the water park. I have recommended it to everyone I know.

2 married couples, the mother and 3 kids 12,14 and 16 stayed at sunset for 1 week and then 1 week at holiday inn sunspree. the 12 and 14 yr old loved the teen club at sunspree the most--the rest of us gave a slight nod to the holiday inn for food and entertainment. after doing mexico the past 4 years we all gave jamaica the thumbs up and will be back. ya mon!!

Okay for the money
The hotel has a very nice setting nice beach and pools. The room was okay, nothing special, bathroom could use updating. It was a little scuzzy. The staff was okay some could be more friendly. The food was average at best, nothing that really made you say mmm. Dessert's at the buffet look much better then they taste. Makes you wonder if the people making them actually taste them or think they are good. My kids and I could whip up tastier treats with a box of Betty Crocker

Disappointed
This was my 4th time at Sunset Beach and I was disappointed. It's been several years since I have been there and I felt that the food was not as good as I remembered. Lunch and dinner were pretty much the same and I didn't the quality was as good. I was very disappointed in the fitness center, the exercise equipment as well is the room could really use maintenace.

Fun loving Vacationer
family getaway
Check in was a nightmare. We had booked an ocean view room and they didn't have one available at the time we were checking in (5pm). We were "upgraded" to an ocean front room. This was a very old room, no water pressure, no bath gel and shampoo. They have no safes for your valuables ( we were told there are non available right now). They have 4 beautiful pools,including one for kids. Lovely beaches and a water park. Not much of a variety in the menu in all the 5 restaurants. The nightly entertainment can use a boost.

Great home base for our mission work.
This resort met 98% of our expectations for a vacation resort for individuals and for families. It also met our needs when we wanted to relax after a day of mission work in the community. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and considerate. The food was great! This year we really enjoyed our special dinner for repeaters.

Fantastic family vacation

Great for children
Beach not inviting. Common spaces very noisy. Lots of noise at night made it difficult to sleep. This is a place for kids who like the water park aspect. Staff was very friendly and helpful
