Never again!
I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. They were still checking the room at 7pm. This hotel has not been up dated since it was built in the 80's. The room were dirty and uncomfortable. Spent as little time in the room as necessary. Some of the staff were very helpful, some were dishonest. The only good thing iwas the location.

Paradise Found !!!!
The staff here are wonderful- I have stayed twice, and each time it is like a welcoming party when you arrive. The second time they even remembered me by name. This hotel truly makes you feel as if you have a safe, secure, friendly and gorgeous place to return to time and time again. The restaurant is attached, food is around $10 USD per meal and very good. The beach is empty during the slow season- you could never wish for anything more than a private beach in the Caribbean! I am a female that travels alone, and I am confidant that this is a very safe place to travel.

"Cosy mid range close to the water"
This was an average mid range beach room. What I liked the best was the included small refergiter & microwave in the room & the restaurnat where your table could be 6 feet from the lapping waves, great at sunset.

A Decent Place
This is a reasonable two-star hotel with very helpful staff. It has an excellent location on Negril Beach with some nearby shops. It is an older hotel, but the room was clean and had a pleasant balcony from which one could often sniff an aromatic smoke odor.

No frills but friendly
We have stayed at Foote Prints several times. This year the rooms had been spruced up with new fabrics, complimentary welcome beverage at the beach bar, even WiFi! We get what we want here - quiet, friendly, unobtrusive employees; great beach with good chairs; very accommodating people. If you want loud & crazy this isn't it. This is peace!

We love to walk north to Cosmos beach restaurant. This year Foote Prints offered an in room refrigerator for $5 per day. There is a small convenience store across the road so we could keep snacks in our room.

Watch Out
So the good news first. The hotel is older but clean, and with modest features. It was well located and generally staffed by nice and friendly people. The beach was clean and the gardens very pretty and well-attended. The front desk staff were helpful except as noted below. So the difficult news is that we were staying on the second floor and were awakened on the second morning there by a man trying to climb onto our patio. I was able to get out onto the deck before he could get fully into our living space and he dropped down and ran off. Bad enough as that was, no one from the hotel ever came and talked to us, made arrangementa to have the security guard moved more onto the area where the rooms were, etc. They wanted to act as if nothing happened. We will not consider going back and anyone with children for sure should be aware. We were very concerned thinking afterwards that sowmone would break in so close to dawn ... Made us think we perhaps avoided a very dangerous circumstance.

Not EVEN worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Firstly, let me state that I am a Jamaican, and have been to SEVERAL hotels on 7 mile beach. This was the WORST hotel ever. They allowed the locals to hang out on the premises...it was not professional by any means! They charge too much for the rooms, and the hotel is NOT updated! The restaurant food is horrible, and overpriced (ie. $5.00US for 4 wings). The management??!!! Unprofessional, unfriendly, and liars!!! When asked for management, or to have the name, or speak with the GM...they will NOT give that information to you. There are TONS of other hotels on 7 mile that are updated, professional, and cater to you...worth the money you spend. I would NEVER go back there again!

Nice, Sea Wind Resort was better!!!
It was good but no more than one hour after arrival we heard the sounds of great fun at Sea Wind Resort next door. Sea Wind Resort is a new property with a Canadian Management team and service beyond highest expectations. They have a great buffet and beach Bon Fire on Monday's and the meals offered were both traditional and plentiful. Stop by and ask for [...] if you get a chance. seawindresortdotcom

Great location, good price, and clean
The hotel was clean and the price was right. The front desk and housekeeping staff were pleasant. The restaurant however, was disappointing. We spent most of our days with family at a nearby resort so the lack of amenities did not bother us. If you are planning sightseeing and other outdoor activities this is a nice place to return to at night.
