On the extensive beach of Bloody Bay approximately 32 miles southwest of Montego Bay airport, lies the all-inclusive Riu Negril, an authentic oasis of tranquility set in extraordinary natural surroundings.
The 420-room beachfront property, offers an experience like no other. Enjoy quality meals, drinks and activities, all at a convenient & all-inclusive price. Wireless Internet in the lobby area for free.
The Riu Negril is also located on the beach, right next to its sister property, the Riu Tropical Bay. Enjoy the impressive outdoor swimming pools with an integrated whirlpool, fitness center, spa, sauna and Jacuzzi. Riu Negril offers an entertainment program for children ages four to twelve, including a mini-club and playground, as well as a children's swimming pool. For adults, the resort experience offers a variety of activities, including two lighted tennis courts, shuffleboard, snorkeling, kayaking, aerobics, windsurfing and body boarding.
Amenities include handicapped access, 4 restaurants, 2 pools with integrated hydro-massage, outdoor children´s swimming pool, spa sauna & jacuzzi, beauty salon, tennis court, fitness center, Jacuzzi, Children's playground & mini-club, entertainment program 7 days a week for children ages 4 to 12, daily activities for adults, 7 days a week, introductory Scuba lessons in pool (only one), 2 lighted tennis court, aerobics, ping-pong, windsurfing, body boarding, nightly entertainment including Live Music and Riu Theme Shows, Disco (entrance and drinks include), open 6 days a week. Unlimited domestic and imported alcoholic beverages, tropical juice cocktails and soft drinks.

Minimum Age: At least one person of 21 years old in every room.
The Hotel reserves the right of admission and therefore we may not allow any room in which all guests are younger than 21 years. This situation can have serious consequences and should be avoided at any cost.

Maximum Occupancy: In all RIU hotels and room categories (unless specified otherwise) the maximum occupancies are 4 bodies in room, either 3 Adults + 1 Child OR 2 Adults + 2 Children. Four adults are NOT permitted. All bodies in room will fit on existing bedding, any special request remains upon availability. Children & and third adult will sleep in existing bedding.
Discounts: Children under 2 years stay & eat free. Their age must be specified in the Booking.
Honeymooners: Will receive a surprise gift in their room upon arrival. Certificate of Marriage will be required upon arrival.
Special requests : Any special request such a extra beds, rollaways, cribs, room next door, remains upon availability of the hotel . Guests will be informed at check in.

Vacation In Negril
Had a good experience at the hotel, food was ok, and the staff was great. Amenities were great but it was hard to get chairs on the beach or on the pool due to it being crowded. We paid for a ocean view but ended was put with in a garden view room and they couldn't change the room because they said they were over booked.

Xmas at the Riu Negril

Family gift of holiday trip
The staff was wonderful and always fast and available. The free activities were varied and fun....we loved the shows and beach activities. The entrainment staff were fun but not pushy. Food varieties allowed all ages to enjoy. Have recommended the resort to others already!

missing camera
my stay at Riu was very nice. I have been to Jamaica over twentyfive times and it was hard to stay at an all inclusive. the food was good. make sure you make a dinner reservation early in your stay because we found that the nicer places had been booked solid.The staff were very friendly and helpful. the beach was nice. On a bad note my brand new camera that I hadn't even taken a picture with was stolen from my locked room. I made a report but that was about as far as it went.

We just came back from Riu Negril and if you plan on going there you might want to consider few of the things we experienced there. Every single day you get same food for breakfast, same for lunch and same for dinner. The pizza they offer is more of melted rubber on cardboard. Beer is good. The room we got on the main floor smelled like mold. By the time we came back home so smelled all our clothes and luggage. Staff is very friendly and eager to help you and make you feel great. Nonetheless, most male-staff gets a lil' flirty and too much in your business, if I may. The weather was perfect and the beach was okay first couple of days but when the waves got a bit stronger and brought lots of seaweed to the shore, it lingered on the beach with no one rushing to clean it up. We did pay a taxi to take us outside the resort to Margaritaville and the 7-mile beaches, Ricks Cafe which was a really awesome experience and highly recommended. Just make sure the taxi you take is safe.

Everyone is very friendly, food is part good part great , rooms are very nice, beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the beach and the pool side live music was very entertaining.

First Trip to Jamaica
Loved the smiling faces n great food. Sun, beach n all you can eat n drink who could ask for anything more. If you asked they would provide i am sure! Will be back one day. Bring bug spray for biting criters in lobby seating area or beach nightlife entertainment. Other than that i thoroughly enjoyed myself.
