Rooms Ocho Rios

This hotel was ok… it was my first time in Jamaica and I didn’t do all-inclusive (this was a mistake); however this hotel was the next best thing. The beach and balcony view was great, the beach is literally your backyard. The hotel spa was amazing but the food could have been better. The hotel is a long way from Montego Bay airport (almost an hour and half drive) but the hotel is in the heart of Ocho Rios. The room was a good size; however you was not alone in the room… there were a few ants in the room and towards the end of the stay I did see a roach. Overall, I give this a 6/10.

The hotel itself was what i expected- although we upgraded to an oceanfront room, since the standard junior suite faced a parking lot. the oceanfront room was great. continental breakfast was pleasant, with good views. We didn't care for Ocho Rios tho- it was crowded and noisy. the first night walking around was awful, we ended up going back to the hotel for dinner- which was midiocre, but at least felt safe. as the days passed, we felt more comfortable venturing out, but we never actually enjoyed it. i ate almost the same thing every day- Jerk chicken, sliced cabbage and rice. Most restaurants had the same menu- very few veggies and not much fruit. It's not that the people weren't friendly- it's just that they never left you alone, and that got tiring when you were out looking for a place to eat. i thought my husband and i were pretty adventuresome- and that's why we didn't want to do an all inclusive. But as it turned out- we should have.

It's OK, depending on what you're looking for. The amenities are ok, except for the wardrobe being in a bathroom (!) As a base for traveling its fine, but otherwise the location is not very cosy.

noisy,noisy,noisy. on porter svc.(gate security is very annoying. instead of keeping a record of your room# with the car license plate#, every time you go in you have to give them your room #).front desk and the kitchen staff ok.

This was a great vacation.The hotel is beautiful, clean, and the staffs are courteous. I would return when my next vacation comes around. There is easy access to move around in the town. There is only one problem, the bed that we got was not so comfortable, but overall it is a great hotel and i recommend it to other visitors. I love the lawn.

I visited the famous Dunns River Falls which is located about 15 mins from the hotel. The hospitality of the staff made the stay wonderful. Always had a smile and willing to assist with any issue or needs you had. The hotel itself was not equipped with a lot of new electronics(flat screen tvs etc).The rooms were standard but nice and comfortable. The beach is literally right outside your room. By being on Main street every thing authentic is at your reach from the restaurants to the crafts etc.You did not pay "tourist prices" for items or food. You also mingle with everyday people going to and from work and just fit in as you go about the area. There is also a beautiful mall about 10 mins from the hotel where again the prices are reasonable. On a whole I had a wonderful stay and would definetly go back. Hope this helped.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Rooms hotel...the staffs are very friendly....the room i stayed in is very nice and clean at all times. I would really go back to this hotel

The best place, with the best price equals an awesome stay! Everything is within walking distance. The people are loving, kind and caring. Yes, some will harrass you but the good definately out weighed the bad.

Overall the hotel was pretty good. I was right in the center of it all parties, beaches, and attractions. There was a very nice front desk girl by the name of [...], she became veey helpful throughout my stay there. I muat say its not a big and fancy hotel but it serves its purpose to tou. Id stay again im sure.

hung out at the pool and the beach, visited the gym
