Ana Intercontinental Tokyo
The ANA Intercontinental is located in perhaps one of the best areas in central Tokyo. Close access to trains and popular destinations make it an idle choice of stay. However, it seems the hotel relies to heavily on its location rather than upgrading its facilities and rooms. The furniture and other conditions seem to be very dated and poorly maintained in terms of cleanliness. The food at the available restaurants is overpriced given the quality which is available. The surrounding areas offer greater variety and opportunity to eat and enjoy. The staff is very helpful but ultimately unable to accommodate given the condition of the building. Typical problems experienced with dated hotels. Other equally good options available.

Just back from Tokyo. I stay at this hotel because the concierge Jerome is a real professional and makes my life easier. There are great restaurants in the hotel and location is excellent. Jr. Suites are great. Go and be pampered.

Very happy with our stay; our
Very happy with our stay; our room was recently renovated, very chic and quiet, and even had a good view. We borrowed a humidifier which was nice as I find pretty much all hotels too dry. The location was great, close to pretty much everything. The complex next door has lots of good restaurants and even a grocery store on the first floor, very convenient. Parking was a bargain given the location at JPY1,000 per night. In-room dining was very tasty, though portions a bit small. Of special note was the in-room massage service. My wife had a massage first and thought it was so good she booked one for me with the same woman. 45mins, JPY5,500 or so. The masseuse was an elderly Japanese woman named Tanaka-san. I'm not sure where she got her strength, but she was incredibly powerful - as well as skillful. Really loosened up my back and neck. I thought our stay was a bargain, even given the strong yen.

"Business Hotel"
Good business hotel - not the best choice for a vacation. In business district away from parks, shopping. Convenient to 2 Metro lines. Concierge can sell a one day metro pass good on all lines - great bargain! Rooms: Very clean, efficient, quiet. Internet available - but pricey! Food way over-priced, but same as many top hotels in the States. Coffee /tea included in room. Plenty of less expensive food options near-by.

From Norita-Do NOT take Airport Limousine as hotel suggests - you will be stuck in traffic! Take Norita Express and a taxi from Tokyo station, much quicker and nicer!

great hotel for the price, though
great hotel for the price, though nearest subway station is a bit far to walk back and forth to. the rooms are contemporary in design, although all are non-smoking and it is close to roppongi via taxi, which will cost you 710 yen per trip. main gripe is that the tamaike-sanno gate is around a 8 minute walk, which may be inconvenient if you are carrying luggage.

We stayed at the ANA Intercontinental
We stayed at the ANA Intercontinental from the end of March to early April 09. The Hotel is located very easily to the Tokyo Metro. After some grovelling to the Manager we were given free internet access for a week. They actually charge you for in room access. We had no breakfasts included in our stay. We did see the prices they charge and actually got caught to eating in the Hotels main Restaurant the very first night. We got charged $65.00 Australian for 2 measly small pizzas and a coke can cost A$10.00. The Australian Dollar as it stands forget about eating in the Hotel. If your on a no frills budget - The Seven Eleven and better still the Family Mart a short distance away from the Hotel is the best choice to get a decent feed. The Hotel itself is a great place. Its visually appealling with the front having water features as such. The Conceirge could have been a little better. Pretty baron if you ask me. Overall a good Hotel but simple adjustments can make it outstanding.
