Stylish hotel with good value in a desirable Ginza location
The Hotel Monterey Ginza is a unique, relatively small hotel set near the major shopping and entertainment attractions at the Ginza crossing. Three metro stations are a short walk away, putting most tourist attractions within easy grasp. Hardwood floors adorn each of the hotel's 224 rooms outfitted in simple, stylish décor. Great convenient location
Everything was smooth during my 5 night stay. Hotel was cozy and located near 3 metro stations (Ginza itchome, Ginza & hashiginza) plus JR Yurakucho station. One can get to any part of Tokyo & beyond easily. Worth staying if Ginza is the area u wish to stay in.

Good Hotel for Downtown Tokyo. Bring a soft pillow. The pillows are hard there.

Perfect location and great value!
The room is big enough compared to most of the Japanese hotel size, the location is close to shopping districts and subway stations. Staffs all speak English well and the service is great! I will definitely stay here again!

Excellent Hotel!
This hotel was fantastic! Top-rate amenities and a friendly staff that was willing to help me find my way to many tourist destinations. Location is extremely convenient to Tokyo Metro stops on two lines (Ginza-ichtome and Ginza). The neighborhood is extremely safe. Rooms are small but comfortable.

Close to the train station, fun neighborhood
No real complaints (bed was hard but thats always true in japan), walking distance to a lot of things including the train station, imperial palace, street market, etc.

Good bang for the buck
The location was ideal to the Ginza and public transportation. Room was comfortable and clean. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I would gladly stay here again.

Good value, can't beat the location
Great location. 6 mins from JR Yurakucho Sta (use the Kyobashi exit at NE end of station closest to Tokyo Sta), even closer to several Metro stations, around the corner from Ginza Chuo-dori, one of Tokyo's top shopping streets. Room small but that's beside the point. Attentive housekeeping, quick responses to requests.

Time-saving tip:
In Hotel
Room has electric kettle and mug cups. After spending too much on breakfast the 1st day, we bought a small jar of Nestle instant coffee at a convenience store (they are everywhere). Every morning we crossed the street to a Family Mart to buy pastries or sandwiches and ate in room. Saves time & money!
