Practical Room at a Great Value
Choosing the number of stars and the rating for this hotel is difficult. I want to give this hotel five stars on all the requested area like amenities, location, room cleanliness, room comfort, staff and value because for the promised and expected level of performance in these areas, they executed perfectly. The problem is, it just isn't a five star hotel, or even 4 star hotel, but that isn't to say, it isn't a great hotel. I have stayed in plenty of "4 star hotel's" and for example they have had lots of amenities but have been dirty or worn. Not the case with this hotel. It was appropriate furnished, clean and was a great value for Tokyo.

Great Room for a decent price!
If you're in for a business trip or fun or testing for the AICPA, then this hotel is prefect. The testing center is within Walking distance of the hotel (~5mins walk). Also, it's close enough to the subway that you can get to parts of the city <20mins. Subway is pretty expensive in Tokyo. It adds up very fast. A trip from a hotel near Narita to the city cost ~1000 Yen (~USD12)/ride. The hotel and room is very clean. Small which only barely fits a queen sized bed and table set, but very comfortable. Serious, the bed, pillows and sheets are great. No free wifi, but there's a free high speed hard-line internet for your laptop. The free buffet style breakfast is pretty good too. Not a lot of choices, but it's decent enough to get you through the morning. Expect, salad, bread/toast, eggs, sausage/patties and juice&milk&coffee&tea. The staffs are quite friends like most Japanese you'll encounter. Their English is alright. Will stay there again!

Villa Fontaine Hotel Review
I stayed at Villa Fontaine Hotel for 2 nights over New Year. The hotel room was clean and neat but very tiny (though usual for Japan). I liked the fact it had breakfast free of charge in the morning and a buffet style. The food was nice: soups, breads, sweet pastry, salads, eggs, coffee, tea, juices, noodles, etc. The service was good. The internet was unavailable or I didn't figure out how to use it. In other hotels it was more clean how to use it. The location of the hotel is ok. The street is business like and has rather few typical city shops. It had lots of starbucks and small markets like Lawson and Family Mart where you can buy some cheap food and other necessities. Overall, this is a decent hotel - not very beautiful, not fancy, small room (single bed type), and nothing special in the hallways but it was very clean and new-looking. Access to Tokyo Center is easy, just one stop from the Tokyo Station using JR line.

We stayed in the annex building
We stayed in the annex building and got a different breakfast than the main building which I didn't think was fair. Also, they are not equipped to handle a large number of guests for breakfast and we had to line up. You are not allowed to take breakfast to your room. Only 1 person on their reception staff spoke English well enough to help us, the rest spoek or understood little to no English.

the staff speak and understand
the staff speak and understand a good level of english. Good room size for the price i paid (compare to Sakura Hotel Ikeburuko) and inclusing a simple breakfast. The staff are genuinely helpful and go out of their way (Ms Suzuki) to help me to find the way to a POI. I'm certainly back to this hotel for my returning trip.

The hotel room is not very tiny
The hotel room is not very tiny in comparison to other hotels in Japan. Instead it is good enough. With the warm attitude of the hotel stuff and free beers as welcome drinks, it is very impressive. Nice room, nice hotel, free breakfast(though not much choice) and extreme convenience of the location. It is located at the very centre of the city and easy access to most attractions by underground. I strongly recomment this hotel.

Hotel modern, net i confortable. Les vistes no són gaire bones. Disposa de rentadora i assecadora d'ús lliure amb monedes.
