First time in Tokyo
It was our first time in Tokyo, fist time in Japan as a matter of fact, and thanks in major part to this hotel, we are already making plans to come back soon. Because of the requierment of a international driver license, we couldn't have a car to move around the city, but the extraordinary location and accesability to the monorial and then to the metro system from our hotel, we visit all the top Tokyo atracttions with ease and no problems. The view of Tokyo Bay from our room was as advertise, spectacular. The staff was courteous and helpful, willing to go the extra mile to make us feel wellcome and why not, even pampers us a bit.

Nice stay
The hotel is beautiful and seems to be new. Amazing lobby, great room view to Tokyo Bay (18th floor), very good breakfast, and to compensate for the not so convenient location they offer a shuttle service from the hotel to the closest bus, monorail and train station and back. Even though the staff tries very hard to be nice to guests, language (English) is below average. I thought the fare I hired included breakfast and they weren't able to explain that in english that it wasn't. They also didn't understand when I asked for a taxi and kept insisting on the monorail route which I had already explained it wasn't what I needed since I had two suitcases. I did expect that a hotel like that would have english speakers at the front desk and concierge

Loved My Stay
The InterContinential Tokyo Bay was the perfect hotel for my recent week's stay in Tokyo. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The view spectacular!! Room services perfect. The location was great for access to the bay, restaurants and various means of public transportation. I guess the number one feature was the staff. Helpful in every way...a treasure for us because we spoke little Japanese. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip.

Unavoidable expenses
The Intercontinental Tokyo Bay is quite nice with excellent service. Location is convenient to Ginza by short train ride. Only gripe is paying exhorbitant internet charges. As a package deal, I would like to see extraneous charges included.
