Good for staying a night near the train station
Very conveniently located a few blocks from the Tokyo Train station and a long walk to Ginza. Excellent if you need to spend one night in Tokyo before flying out the next day, or if you need a place to stay a night or two before you go see other parts of Japan.

Excellent Location
My fiancée and i stopped in Tokyo for 4 days on the way back from a business trip. That was the perfect amount of time to take the train/subway all around Tokyo to see everything it has to offer... Temples, Shrines, Palaces, modern fashion malls, the Fish Market, Observatories and not to mention the best sushi and Kobe dinners. This was the perfect amount of time for one city.

Really great price for a hotel
Really great price for a hotel so close to the heart of Ginza. Fujiya is all about location. Right near Tokyo Station and walking distance to all of Ginza. A great base for seeing all of Tokyo. The hotel was rather old and the rooms looked like they were last renovated in 1970. Facilities were non-existent save for the restaraunt and tacky bar. The halls smelled of cigarettes although our room did not. The staff were excellent. Really helpful, faltless service throughout or stay. We were given a 4PM checkout onthe last day - which is very impressive. Would stay again if location and budget were the key factors in my decision.

Good starting point
The hotel was centrally located in close proximity to Tokyo Station and all subway stops. The location near Ginza also was a very comfortable for evening walks and access to all the food establishments you would need. The room was clean but on the samll size by North American Standards but you need to remeber you are in Japan.

Ginza is a major shopping district but the best feature is the location to subway stations which gives you access to the whole city.

We were very impressed by the service given at the front desk. As a triple room, we thought it would have been slightly larger.
