Very good location to town, friendly staff with good facilities. Breakfast very good. Very warm hotel and rooms exceptionally warm. Had to turn radioator off and open windows but not a bad thing.

Great hotel for a rugby tour

The staff were great from the receptionists to the roomstaff to the dining room and bar staff - all very helpful and courteous.Well done all of you. The hotel has a fantastic position on the sea front with good access to the town of St Hellier. The breakfasts were excellent - commented on by all our group. If and when I have the opportunity I will certainly come again.

I was very impressed with this hotel, it's enormous but the service is excellent. The spa is out of this world.
The breakfast is one of the best I have ever had, a fantastic selection.
We ate one night in the bistro and enjoyed a good meal. I was a little surprised of the size of the bistro it was comparably very small next to the size of the hotel. The only other choice was the a la carte restaurant which was only open certain days and was not so inviting.
Loved the hotel in general and will definately go again.

Die Inneneinrichtung der Zimmer ist in sehr dunklen Farbtönen gehalten, die Bleuchtung lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Deckenstrahler so über dem Gardarobeschrank plaziert, daß sie so gut wie kein Licht in den Raum werfen. Badezimmer adaptiert, leider im "traditionellen britischen Stil", enstsprechen nicht den Anforderungen moderner Hotels.
Landseitigen Zimmern: Die Ausicht geht auf die technischen Einrichtungen des Nachbarhauses bzw. des Hotels (Klimaanlagen etc.) verursachen bei offenem Fenster Lärm. Wohl einer der Gründe weshalb man beim Betreten des Zimers zugezogene Vorhänge vorfindet. Meerseitige Zimmer (nur gegen Aufpreis) gehen auf die stark befahrene Straße, welche Hotel und Strand trennen.
Die relativ neuen Plastikbilligfenster eines 5Sternehotels unwürdig. Das Badezimmer verfügt über keine Belüftung, stickiger, muffiger Geruch der wohl auch noch durch den dunklen Textilvorhang in der Badewanne gefördert wird.
W-Lan Signal leider in vielen Hotelzimmern sehr schwach.

The entire hotel has recently completed a million pound refurbishment programme, which now makes the Cristina one of the finest and most luxurious hotels within its class. The hotel also has complimentary WIFI Internet Connection which is available in all public areas. The hotel also has a large heated swimming pool and terrace which provides a natural suntrap with views across the gardens to the sea. Outdoor swimming pool situated in the gardens - heated during the summer months. From its hillside position amid colourful, well-maintained gardens, Hotel Cristina boasts one of the finest views in Jersey. Overlooking St. Aubin's Bay, historic Elizabeth Castle and St. Aubin's Fort, this peaceful location is only one and a half miles from St. Helier. The golden beach is a few minutes walk through Coronation Park.

Walked to the nearby park and walked the flowered pathways then read my book on one of the many benches and RELAXED! Then in the afternoon strolled through the shopping area then ate dinner at a great outdoor seafood cafe near the hotel . The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful. Made this women traveling alone feel safe and comfortable. Will stay there again on future visits to Jersey.

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court. It surrounded by huge gardens that are beautiful to lie out in the summertime. The hotel offers a complimentary bus service to and from different beaches throughout the Island a couple of times during the week. A lovely alternative to St. Helier yet, still very near the town centre. (KB 05/08) Modern, low-rise building with well-tended gardens, and car parking at the rear of the hotel. The hotel is situated in a quiet rural location, a few minutes walk from the beaches of Grouville Bay. A ten minute drive to St. Helier which cost aprox £10.00 in a taxi. Frequent local busses pass by the hotel. Surrounded in beautiful Jersey countryside this hotel is perfect for those guests looking for a relaxing break.

Beachcombers Hotel provides good value clean accomodation in a good location for exploring the beatiful island of Jersey. the staff are most helpful and the breakfast buffet is as good as you might expect in a much more expensive and higher rated hotel. The only comment to make is that the rooms facing the roadway can suffer from road noise in spite of the double glazing! I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for any age group excepting maybe teenagers but then what would teenagers be doing in Jersey anyway!
