Business Hotel
This is a clean modern Holiday Inn and is comparable to all the business oriented Holiday Inns I have stayed in. The drawback is that it is in the west of the city and not near the main business district. The hotel is located in a still developing suburb and within 7 minute walking distance to shopping on Madina Road, which is of local standards. 5 dinar taxi ride to business/ ministry area eg. Jabal Amman 3rd circle.

Short walk from hotel
Within a 7 minute walking distance (turn right from the hotel and then first right) on Madina Road there are several good restaurants serving arabic style food and a burger joint Hardy's (similar to Macdonalds), as well as small shops selling all manner of goods. If you are looking for tourist gifts then the place to go is Noumani Bazar, which has hand made pottery, metalwork and similar - a bit pricey - and attached to it is a traditional style steam bath facility (alf layla). There are several famous Arabic sweet (Bakhlava) confectionery bakeries near to Noumani also.
