I like the Nairobi Java House. They have food and great coffee. Simmers is good for grilled chicken.

Good overnight stay
I spent one night at Laico while in transit. I had chosen the hotel because of the complimentary internet connectivity and gym facility. The standard double room turned out to be nicer than I expected given the low rate that I got. I really wished I could stay longer. The hotel has a great gym with steam room and jacuzzi that guests can use free of charge. I really enjoyed the opportunity of relaxing after a long flight. The only problem I had was the food. There are 2 main restaurants at the hotel, one proposing an international cuisine with a creamy pompous menu and the Italian one. I chose the latter and the food was barely OK. So, my suggestion: eat out if you can!
