The worth Radisson I ever experienced! Very noisy – windows shuts not tightly, doors make more noise than keep. Worn out bathrooms are uncomfortable and very poorly equipped and decorated(business class room). Breakfast (that was excellent some 5 years ago) was very poor, similar to one cheep hotel. Don’t recommend this hotel, for sure!

Hotellet var dessvärre en besvikelse. Flera av faciliteterna hade avvecklats. Städningen var inte acceptabel. Det är tyvärr direkt lögn att kalla detta hotell femstjärnigt - 2+ känns som ett mer korrekt betyg. Att det dessutom ligger off och tvingar fram inte helt trevliga promenader kvälls- och nattetid sänker betyget ytterligare.

I enjoyed my stay, and best thing was the freindly enviroment in the hotel which make it some how most prominent for families. staff was very freindly, specially Katrina, Richard, Gardana, if im not wrong with the name and special thanks for Bar staff. Well just one thing for me was missing was Kettle, tea and sugar, so that you could had your own tea at any time and depending upon on ur mood, well its my personal opinioun. Prices for rooms were quite suitable. i Loved my stay.

Excellent location and vey comfortable. Room had fridge, wired internet, ironing board/iron and even an umbrella! Comprehensive breakfast. Only minor downside was advice not to drink tap water in room. I bought very cheap bottled water from nearby supermarket.

We came to Riga for ten days from the U.S. The Liene was a suprisingly great economical value. The room we got was clean and tidy, and came with a kitchen equipped with a small fridge and a range. The bathroom was a bit tight for a big guy (250 lb) like myself, but clean and pleasant nonetheless. We were on the 2nd floor, so not having an elevator wasn't an issue. They have some tables with large canopies for lounging or eating outdoors behind the hotel. They also have a restaurant/bar downstairs (I think the name of it translates to "the fire extinguisher"), in which we had a couple of breakfasts, a light supper (delicious cheeseburgers!), and a large dinner (meat, veggies, and salad). The food is quite good, and is reasonably priced. We had beer and wine, so I don't know about how good the mixed drinks would be. The staff was quite gracious and helpful. You can park in the back, if needed. The location was very convenient for getting to the major points throughout the city, by trolley, bus, or by foot (we did all three). Markets are very close by, so you can easily prepare your own meals (as we also did). I suspect this is a place that gets lots of repeat business, and I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Gångavstånd till det mesta, lugnt läge, ingen trafik.
Trevlig och hjälpsam personal i receptionen. Frukosten helt OK. Fåglarna kvittrade i sin bur.
Det finns ett specialerbjudande på "Coctails" vid vissa tider. Dom ska nog betraktas som elevarbeten.

My room was quite small but it had a desk, which I needed for work. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was quite large but the toilet was too close to the sink. There were no electrical outlets in the bathroom.
The hotel is very modern. It has an elevator, a good restaurant and a pleasant bar.

I've stayed at this hotel twice now during stopovers for flights through Riga. Each time, the price was outstanding ($38 USD nightly), the front desk clerks were professional and friendly, the internet connection was solid, the room was clean, the hotel's on-staff drivers were prompt and safe, and my overall experience was excellent. It's not a five-star hotel; but at this economical price-point it was the best I've seen. This is my new favorite hotel in Riga.

The Radisson Blu Elizabete is a good city hotel close to the old city centre of Riga. It has all the amenities you would expect. Staff is friendly. Because of its size, it feels a bit unpersonal. I would come here again on a businesstrip or for a weekend with a friend.

Raddison has always been a nice play to stay, this one in Riga it's the same. Nice breakfast, freshmade omelet. In the room you can enjoy free wifi as well. In a good location too, easy to access to everywhere. The hotel cooperate bus tour with discount price, do not forget to use it, very worth to travel with bus for 90mins to see Riga.

Beautifully-appointed place. Very elegant. Big enough to impress, small enough to feel homely. Service is amazing - polite, efficient and warm. We stayed in one of the junior suites. Well-equipped and stylish.

Some features cancel out: The room (#3) was a suite with modern bathroom, large living room, clean and comfortable; person(s) on duty were courteous. Location is a few blocks walk from Old Town. On the other hand, the facility is not in a quiet courtyard but on the third floor of a fine old building that has become run down (shabby hallway and stairs); the photo offered is a view from guest house window, not the facility itself. The TV did not work. For me, the dollar value (round trip flight from France plus 3 day hotel stay) was a great bargain and worth it.

I was staying for 10 days and booked a small one room bedroom, but they gave me the suite for no extra charge. I had to walk outside my room and halfway down a flight of stairs to use the internet but it was fast and that is where I smoked at. My room/bathroom were very clean, the hotel staff was nice and helpful. The location is 2 blocks away from the center of Riga. There were no English channels on the television but I wasn't on vacation to stay in my room and watch TV. My room was basically an apartment and for the price I originally payed extremely worth the stay.

Very pleasant and tastefully decorated hotel more or less a 10 minute walk from the Old Town. This is not the first time I stayed here, and enjoyed it just as much last time. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only small downside was the restaurant..which is not owned by the hotel. The quality was really good, and service also good, however when I tried to pay with my credit card they said that my card wasnt working. It was. I thought about it afterwards and they didnt try very hard, in fact it almost looked like a game to me where they wanted cash only. I was forced to go outside and get cash from the same card, and they almost made me feel like a criminal, when it was nothing to do with me or my card. Perhaps the staff are ripping the owner off?

Our four-star boutique Hotel Justus is located in the very of the old town of Riga, literally a few steps away from the famous Dome cathedral, within the architectural area protected by UNESCO as a part of world heritage. The immaculate renovation of the historical building was completed by April 2009, and so today the authentic faade conceals 45 cosy rooms uniquely designed to embrace the charm of genuine brickwork combined with fascinating art objects, antique as well as contemporary. Personalised service matched with attractive pricing policy makes Hotel Justus of great interest for a wide range of guests. The hotels site possesses high historical value, since it was part of the plot of land selected by Bishop Albert as the location for his Baltic residence back in 1210. However, the medieval wooden housing was destroyed by the fire in the 17th century, so the architectural ensemble comprising Jauniela Street today dates back to the 18th century. The faade of the hotel itself underwent the last major alteration in 1874. The building hosted a tavern in the early 19th century that was later replaced by typography and lithography services, in the 20th century it was occupied by artisan workshops, pharmaceutical laboratories, and then a cinema gallery and offices. Charms of architecture and historical atmosphere made this place a favourite shooting spot of Soviet movie-makers. Now the hotel belongs to a small group of friends that has spotted an empty run-down building and revived it with artistic energy.

Siisti, kivalla tavalla remontoitu ja persoonallisen näköinen hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla vanhassa kaupungissa idyllisen pikkukadun varrella. Avulias henkilökunta. Huoneessa ilmainen langallinen netti, aulassa w-lan. Hyvä aamiainen. Huoneessa oli alkuun jonkun verran tunkkainen ilma, kenties aiemmasta tupakoinnista johtuva, mutta tämän meistä reissaajista pisti merkille vain toinen. Ehdottomasti yöpyisimme uudestaan!

Für unseren Aufenthalt in Riga buchten wir das Hotel Hanza für 3 Übernachtung inklusive Frühstück.
Das Hotel Hanza ist zu Fuss vom Busstopp Stockmann ( Von Linie 22 "Flughafen" aus kommend ) innert 4 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Markthallen, Tramstationen für die Altstadt innerhalb 3-5 Minuten Fussdistanz. Ein Fussmarsch zur Petrikirche, Schwarzhäupterhaus dauert ca. 15Minuten.
Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und spricht sehr gut englisch. Die Zimmer und das Hotel haben einen sehr guten modernen Standart und die Sauberkeit ist ebenfalls gegeben.
Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und das Personal sehr zügig im Wiederauffüllen.
Ebenfalls ist der sogenannte Hanza Pub für Mittags- und Abendessen zu empfehlen, wirklich eine ausgezeichnete Küche und unbedingt das lettlische Bier probieren.

The hotel is located in a slightly remote area but still within walking distance to Old Town and Center of Riga. If you are planning to take taxis (I had to do it a lot) then I would recommend asking the front desk to call for the cheapest taxi service. They will know who to call, if you do it on your own you might overpay for taxis. Excellent Pub downstairs, good free breakfast. Enjoyed it a lot!

Good location and the airport bus is just a block away every half hour. Breakfast was good and there is a supermarket near by. You can walk to everything.
