To get to the Riga Airport (RIX) by taxi takes only 10-15 minutes and will cost you just around 12-15 Euros. BEST Hotel offers its own transfer service! It takes only bus 4 stops to get to the Central Terminal via public transportation - fast and cheap. To Old Riga, it's only 5 bus stops. Trolleybus Nr. 8 will take you to the Old Town. Bus Nr. 40A goes by the Railway Station; ends in the Central Marketplace and the Bus Station Minibus Nr. 233A will take you to the Railway Station and the Central Post Office

My new favorite in Riga
I've stayed at this hotel twice now during stopovers for flights through Riga. Each time, the price was outstanding ($38 USD nightly), the front desk clerks were professional and friendly, the internet connection was solid, the room was clean, the hotel's on-staff drivers were prompt and safe, and my overall experience was excellent. It's not a five-star hotel; but at this economical price-point it was the best I've seen. This is my new favorite hotel in Riga.

Very thin walls - noisy snore
Very thin walls - noisy snore at night was disturbing and springs of the bed are bulging. Good service, good parking and all the rest is good for the price.
