I was staying for 10 days and booked a small one room bedroom, but they gave me the suite for no extra charge. I had to walk outside my room and halfway down a flight of stairs to use the internet but it was fast and that is where I smoked at. My room/bathroom were very clean, the hotel staff was nice and helpful. The location is 2 blocks away from the center of Riga. There were no English channels on the television but I wasn't on vacation to stay in my room and watch TV. My room was basically an apartment and for the price I originally payed extremely worth the stay.

This was by far the worst place i ever stayed in. It cannot qualify as a hotel, let alone a 3 star hotel. In fact, your average hostel is actually more comfortable than this place. The room was ugly, dirty, and stank of old stale sweat. It seemed as if it had never been cleaned. The towels were dirty. There was no toilet paper available, and asking the staff for a new roll proved too much effort. The staff were EXTREMELY rude and forward with me all the time, and came across as very dodgy in general. My neighbours were noisy and when i complained to a member of staff to do something about it, she basically told me to **** off. One of the worst aspects of staying there was the fact that this "hotel" is located right above a nightclub, and so, understandably, Friday and Saturday nights were sleepless for me, as both times they were playing some crazy hardcore techno there until 8 in the morning. Thought i was gonna go crazy, so finally had to call the police in the early morning to put an end to this pandemonium. Long story short, this was the most disgusting and unnerving experience i ever had to endure. The fact that this so-called "hotel" was relatively cheap did not justify all the **** i had to put up with during my stay there. This place is extremely dodgy and should be avoided at all costs. Don't say i didn't warn you.

Some features cancel out: The room (#3) was a suite with modern bathroom, large living room, clean and comfortable; person(s) on duty were courteous. Location is a few blocks walk from Old Town. On the other hand, the facility is not in a quiet courtyard but on the third floor of a fine old building that has become run down (shabby hallway and stairs); the photo offered is a view from guest house window, not the facility itself. The TV did not work. For me, the dollar value (round trip flight from France plus 3 day hotel stay) was a great bargain and worth it.

Hotellin pitäjä oli todella mukava nainen, mutta siihen se mukavuus jäikin. Paikka löytyi ihan hyvin kun taxilla mentiin. Itse pelkäsin olla tuolla. Sisäänkäynti pimeältä kadulta ihme rappukäytävän läpi. Meillä oli kahden hengen huone, jossa neliöitä oli varmaan 50, mikä aluksi yllätti positiivisesti. Mutta sängyt olivat kivikaudelta. Oli todella turvaton olo. Maisemat olivat sisäpihalle mitä ilmeisesti pidettiin kaatopaikkana. Mutta rohkealle matkustajalle hyvä paikka! Jos halvalla haluaa ja keskustan lähelle. Mutta itse en toista kertaa menisi.

Hotellia täytyi etsiä noin 1h ennen kuin se löytyi suljetun matkatoimiston summeria soitettaessa. Silloin oli jo aikomus lähteä johonkin muuhun hotelliin. No hotelliin päästiin ja hotellin "mamma" oli todella mukava! Huoneeseen kulku huomattiin olevan pimeän avoimen oven kautta pimeään rappukäytävään, jossa olisi avoimen oven, ja vieressä olevan 24h baarin takia olisi voinut olla kutsumattomia yösijan hakijoita. Huone sinänsä oli iso, mutta keittomahdollisuus oli micro ja jääkaappi, eli ei edes vesiallasta. Huoneistossa löytyi kahdelle hengelle kuusi sänkyä, joissa jouset tuntuivat selkään. Eli hotellia ei voi suositella myöskään selkäpotilaille. Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä, mutta Ebookerssin lukoitus 3 tähteä on todella vedetty yli kaiken kokemuksen!!!!! Hotellin on huonon motellin tasoa. Eli jos haluat asua keskustassa, mutta et piittaa turvallisuudesta nukkuessassi etkä sängystä niin tämä on hyvä valinta, mutta jos arvostat edellämainittuja niin älä valkitse tätä hotellia. Hotellin ainoat hyvät asiat olivat hotellin "mamma" ja sijainti"!!!
