Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

I love to walk so we walked everywhere and saw so much. Started very early in the morning - walking about 8 hours a day. Love it love it love it. Helped to improve my lifestyle. Never going back on a sedmentary big city lifestyle.

GREAT LOCATION

OUR STAY AT THE HOTEL TIA WAS GREAT. GREAT BREAKFAST,WALKING DISTANCE TO OLD TOWN RIGA,STAFF VERY NICE, CALLED CAB FOR US, PICKED US UP AT AIRPORT WHEN WE ARRIVED. WE WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.

Good choice if you want to visit

Good choice if you want to visit Arena Riga concert hall. Rooms are quite comfortable. Breakfast was excellent!

Kolmen tähden hotelli eikä muuta väitäkään. Voin suositella korkeintaan kahden yön yöpymiseen sellaiselle matkustavaiselle, joka ei tykkää viettää aikaansa hotellilla.

Ihan ok perushotelli

Erinomainen sijainti niille, jotka ovat menossa Arena Rigaan esim. konserttiin tai KHL-jääkiekkopeliin. Vanha kaupunki on myös ihan kävelymatkan päässä normaalikuntoisella, mutta pari kilometriä taitaa matkaa tulla. Aamiaista tai ruokailua en ole testannut. Henkilökunta ihan ystävällistä ja palvelualtista. Rakennus ja tilat vaikuttavat vähän vanhoilta. Äänieristys heikko ja huoneiden ovien kahvatkin pahimmillaan vaikuttavat jäävän käsiin. Sisältä huoneet ovat kuitenkin siistejä. Yhdellä kerralla kun sain kerroksen viimeisen huoneen käytävän päästä, niin langaton internet-yhteys ei toiminut huoneessani asti, sillä yhteys oli niin heikko. Jos tarkoitus on pyöriä vanhassa kaupungissa, käydä shoppailemassa ja syömässä eikä hinta ole ihan kympistä tai kahdesta kiinni, niin valitsisin jonkin toisen vähän modernimman hotellin. Tämäkin hotelli kuitenkin ajaa hyvin asiansa ja Arena Rigan matkaajille etenkin ihan ok valinta.

Hotel nahe der Altstadt

Positiv: Die Altstadt ist zu Fuß in ca. 15 Minuten zu erreichen; jeden Tag wird das Zimmer gereinigt und es gibt neue Handtücher; preiswertes Hotel. Negativ: Im Oktober bei +8°C wird eine ganze Woche nicht geheizt. Die ganze Woche stets das gleiche Frühstücksangebot - ist ausreichend, aber keine Abwechslung. Das Hotel liegt an einer stark befahrenen Straße und trotz geschlossener Fenster ist es sehr laut.
