There was a party in the bar 8th floor on Saturday which was very loud. We could hear the bass in our room on the 2nd floor! Party went on until at least 01:00. Except for this, a nice hotel and well situated in the Luxembourg city.

Swank!
Whoa! [...] These rooms must typically cost a ton of money; this place has got to be a five-star hotel. This was the fanciest room I've ever stayed in. The rain shower with the cool lights at the bottom, the view of the valley from way up high, the chocolates and complimentary minibar and the amazing restaurant and room service, the fitness room! all of it. We have no complaints. We feel like we stumbled on a great deal.

In Hotel
The restaurant with full views of Luxembourg city and the Valley was amazing. Everything felt super luxurious. We had fois gras and the most amazing cheese plate ever. The breakfast buffet up there was amazing too, with every exotic fruit you can think of (lychees and ugli fruits!) and cheeses that are worth getting a heart attack for.

Excellent all around!
Sofitels in general are excellent and this is no exception. New, very clean, good location, wonderful buffet breakfast, fabulous views from bar.
