Awana Hotel (Formerly known as Awana Genting Highlands, Golf & Country Resort) located at 3,000 feet above sea level amidst the country's largest, longest and oldest mountain range, be enthralled by the Resort's crispy cool air, abundant greenery and lush panoramas. There is nothing like an invigorating game of golf made more pleasurable by the salubrious mountain air on a Ronald Fream designed 18-hole championship golf course. Indeed the refreshing cool wind on the golf course is a welcome change from the heat and humidity of the lowlands. These charmingly-designed rooms with delightful fittings, comfortable furnishing and yes, breathtaking views, are truly a home away from home.

Nice old style hotel
The hotel is located near the Genting Skyway, free shuttle from/to the Skyway everyday. There are a lot of thing you can do around the hotel, like golfing, hiking or just stay inside and have fun with family. It's a little bit old but it's still a nice place to stay near by the highland.

Family getaway
We stayed at the one bedroom condo at Awana Hotel. The room does not have any aircon and the fan speed is slow. Years back Genting is cold so I think the hotel does not install any aircon at this room category. However, nowadays Genting is not that cold anymore. The hotel should review the comfort of the room again.

Family Getaway
It was alright. The hotel is not located where the all the fun is on the Genting Highlands mountain. You have to take the cable lift to go up to where all the hotels are.

Beautiful hotel up in the mountains. We really enjoyed our stay was so peaceful and great facilities all around. Its almost like a small city with its own shops and cafe and restaurants

It's a nice place with the temperature
It's a nice place with the temperature just right. They should consider renovating the place, providing more facilities/things. e.g. safebox, face towels, toothbrush etc.

Quiet peaceful getaway
The hotel is quite peaceful with a nice golf course. Rooms are big with a nice view. Clean, with extensive free buffet breakfast and a good korean restaurant. Downside is it is located downhill from Genting proper and access to Genting is via free shuttle or cable car.

Having stayed at this fantastic
Having stayed at this fantastic resort hotel previously just had to come back with my wife. The service was as good as expected and could not fault the place. Once again would be delighted to come back again.

Staff are friendly,courteous and very helpful. Varieties of food-splendid and very nice (Food are Hallal). Facilities are execellent including shuttle service bus to the Resort World plus the complimentary 2 return ticket to the Genting Skyway. Love the place and will like to come again.
