Great hotel except for food service

The hotel itself was great. The location, the cleanliness, the decor, gorgeous sunsets...everything but the food service. On more than one occasion we were misinformed about certain deals, only to find extra charges on our hotel bill for said "deals". It happened enough times that it made us wonder if this was a sneaky way of them charging more in the hopes that people won't check their bill to ensure no hidden charges. My recommendation is, if you are offered a deal, it probably isn't true. And be sure to check each item on your bill!!! Luckily they removed the extra charges, but only after haggling with them. Also, the private beach isn't much of a beach. More like dirt as opposed to sand. The pool, however, was nice. Except for the 4 inch cockroach we saw scurrying on the pool deck!

Enjoyed the stay at the resort.

Enjoyed the stay at the resort. The resort has been around for a long time but is in very good condition. Close to KK city which is handy. Staff were very friendly and accomodating Due to the location, there are not that many other eating options available - you needed to take a cab to KK city.
