if I could say anything negative it would have to be no English television stations. Also to eat in the hotel was very expensive. Maybe they could look into a kiosk style of fast food and snacks at a more modest price.

the taxi drivers go like bats out of *ell and the fares can be negotiated before the trip. Stick firmly to your price. Also, this hotel is close walking distance to a good mall where you can eat reasonably cheaply. If you need glasses, great mall to take your prescription to and buy designer glasses at a great price!

Cleanest, luxurious, comfortable
The hotel is very very good value for money and although I have only been to one other hotel in KL, I don't think that you can find anything better, in terms of comfort, cleanliness, amenities and location anywhere near this price range. I also tried the Swiss Inn hotel for a few nights but it was no where near as good as Furama.

New hotel
as they have upgrade mine to a suite, I have a fantastic room with a nice view of the city n the twin tower. U can see Berjaya Times Sq opposite the hotel but need to walk abt 10 to 15 mins to get there as there is no direct access. the hotel do provide shuttle service to BT Sq, KLCC. We took the 1 for 1 deal by the hotel restaurant for BBQ buffet dinner, it's really worth it with a good spread of food.

A Comfortable Hotel
The hotel is located at a convenient location. The staff is generally helpful, polite and friendly. The first impression at the Lobby gives the guest the comfort and spaciousness. The room is clean, spacious with basic essentials such as poculator, iron, etc.. The wifi is good and cost MR10 per 2 hours which is reasonable. The breakfast is okay, nothing spectacular but value for money. Many food stores and restaurants are located in the vicinity. Recommended for visitors who are on budget.

Short walk from hotel
Local and Chinese food. Those who fancy curry wild boer which cost MR7 per set walk 2 mins to the open air car park food stall...worth the try, taste delicious especially the curry. Avoid most of the Chinese restaurant which cater for organised tourists who come in busload.

A great find
This was the friendliest hotel that we have have ever stayed in - and we have stayed in a lot of hotels. The pool is very nice, the breakfast extremely generous and the service very attentive. The room was large and comfortable, however, the bed was a little firm, but not hard. The black out curtains made sleeping in very easy. The view from our hotel window was stellar - the KL Tower and the Twin Towers. The bathroom was large and the shower splendid. The hotel was close to the mono-rail, inexpensive airline offices and Times Square Mall

Marvellous family getaway
First time checked into this hotel for family holiday in KL. Had heard that it was new having just opened this year. Upon arrival I was not disappointed but instead very pleased with the family room that we booked - able to accommodate comfortably my wife and I and 3 young boys. Nice room layout and they looked and felt as good as new! Two very good sized bedrroms with a nice living area in the middle - just perfect! Breakfast served had a good selection and was good standard. Quite convenient location with Berjaya Times Square nearby and other malls and attractions in close proximity. Will definitely consider for future trips to KL.

PERFECT start to a new hotel, what a pleasure to stay here
This hotel has only opened 1 or 2 months ago and they have gotten off to an EXCELLENT start. The staff- reception, dining and housekeeping are all extremely friendly and hopefully they will stay this way! They have an opening special at the moment so it's the best time to test it out at a reasonable price, but even without the discount I would say it is a very reasonable price. The buffet breakfast is superb and there are different dishes every day. The pool is very relaxing and overlooks the Bukit Bintang area. The location is also great as it is south of the BB area so not too noisy, but close enough to walk. If you don't want to walk there is an MRT and a LRT station very close to the hotel. The only thing I would suggest is having a shower screen on the bath tub so that the water does not go all over the floor. Aside from that, the rooms have been designed very well including international electrical sockets so you don't need adapters and very modern light switches and lighting.

taxi drivers don't know where it is
The Furama is a brand new hotel, so it's not surprising taxi drivers weren't familiar with it. However, even when I gave the drivers the exact address, I was still subjected to a long expedition through heavy post ramadan "break fast" traffic in Bukit Bintang. Finally arriving at the hotel, there was no wait to check in, and the hotel looked fantastic, especially for the discounted room price I paid. However, there must have been some glitch in the check-in system, because three staff had to combine all their skills to get me checked in and it took a while. When I reached my room, the door key did not work. Returning to the front desk in a "huff", the manager, Roger, came out and switched me to a suite, which was a marvelous room and I was very thankful. Roger, who escorted me to the new room, stayed with me to make sure everything worked, and of course, there was something. The room safe was installed incorrectly, and did not lock shut. All in all, the hotel looked great because it was new, and I enjoy staying in Bukit Bintang, it's more interesting than the KLCC area, but the Furama got some loose ends to sort out I would give them a 2nd chance though. The room was nice.
