Nice hotel with great front desk
Nice hotel with great front desk service. Rooms are good but the bathrooms could use a little updating. The location is so good that we would stay at this hotel again.

Can walk to Lot 10, the large Mega mall with all kinds of mid & high end shopping; low, mid & high end dining. Can also take the monorail from KL Central train station to & from hotel. KL Central has the hi-speed train to KL Int'l airport (30 minute hi-speed train.

Excellent,Superb Experience
Excellent experienced.Friendly Staff superb Trip with Istana. I was on my honeymoon but booked a regular room, when I called to confirm my Hotel reservation and told that its my Honeymoon ..They Gave me Very Special room. I'm very Happy and will come again and again and will recommend family and friends.

Generally place was clean and location was good, bell boy was a bit slow at attending to service and when trying to get a taxi out the front could be a bit slow too, bathrooms need an upgrade however, cracks were found and looked a bit worn down. Overall good experience

We stayed in a club room which was huge ( 2 rooms actually, bedroom and lounge area). These had been renovated beautifully only disappointment was the bathroom which does need an update although was perfectly clean. Breakfast was fabulous- the best we have had in 3 weeks of travelling anad staying in 5 class hotels!

Location is fantastic, just next
Location is fantastic, just next to the Pavillion shopping centre and also Bukit Bintang Walk. I checked into the hotel at 5pm and my room was not ready and I was asked to wait at the bar for 45 mins where I was only offered juice and non-alcoholic drinks to bide the time. When I eventually got my room key, I had been "upgraded" to the club floor, only I was not permitted to use any of the club facilities! The room itself was very spacious but was old and quite rundown with wallpaper peeling off the walls, tiles needing replacing etc.. Even the mini-bar was not functional. Several times my request for extra towels/room make-up were not followed through and in general the hotel felt like it was understaffed. However, the hotel was clean and the bed was very comfortable. This hotel describes itself as 5 star - which may have been the case 10-20 years ago, but now I would say it is only a 3-3.5 star due to it's need for maintennence.
