worst staffs
I don't know why they are not responding to my request. They keep saying "wait!" but never "do" it.. or never properly explain. i don't even want to say more about that hotel. also breakfast at the hotel is way too expensive regarding its quality. never have breakfast there.

KL 3 day trip
We spent 3 days 2 nights in Kuala Lumpur and enjoyed the stay at Hotel Instana very much. Room was clean and comfy (althought I was surprised by the BIG tube style TV). Staff was very very friendly and accommodating. We checked out at noon but they stored our luggage and allowed us to shower and change 8 hours later as our flight departed around midnight. Also, location was great, just a block from many places to eat and 2 malls. KLCC is also near by.

Good location, nice hostesses, bit old
traditional hotel, very well located, with view to Petronas and KL tower. kind of old however comfortable. the staff was helpful to the extent they could understand english.

Expected a bit more, but overall pretty happy
We stayed at Istana during our honeymoon, the staff was incredibly friendly and the lobby was beautiful. After seeing the lobby, which really is breathtaking, I expected the rooms to be in mint condition. I found the rooms a bit run down, the bathroom had mold in the grout and the a built in wall hair dryer from the 60's, which was stained and very tired. The bed was incredibly hard. The location was great, there was a metro station in walking distance and most of the KL sites. The restaurant in the hotel was unbelievable! The room itself was unmemorable and nothing special.

After complaining a great hotel
Upon arrival a very old room was provided. Dirty floor, dirty shower and ....blood on the bedclothes. Disgusting. After complaining we were provided with another clean room, but only the next day.

The good, the bad, and the really ugly
on arrival it took ages to find our reservation referrence.Despite being a couple and our request they gave us a room with two seperate beds. Next day, our room was changed with a king bed but the key was not working, everytime we had to ask the manager to come and open the door for us. Poor breakfast, not many choice to select from. Shower was leaking water and during our stay, hotel staff just told us they are sorry, but didn't fix the problem

Excellent,Superb Experience
Excellent experienced.Friendly Staff superb Trip with Istana. I was on my honeymoon but booked a regular room, when I called to confirm my Hotel reservation and told that its my Honeymoon ..They Gave me Very Special room. I'm very Happy and will come again and again and will recommend family and friends.

1 tres bonne nuit
1 seul défaut pour l'hotel : la taille de la piscine est un peu trop petite par rapport aux nombres de chambres. Mais sinon pour une nuit à moins de 70€ (avec promo internet) difficile de trouver mieux....
