Good Value for Price but Overrated
This hotel could so easily be a 4 - 4.5 star hotel if they hired the right people. I stayed here for four nights so I had the opportunity to utilize most areas of the hotel. Concierge and bellmen were superb, while everyone else was average or below. Housekeeping needs the most work. There is mold growing in the shower that could so easily be killed with product and they do not clean they simply straighten up your room and replace used items. The hotel offers complimentary water, tea and coffee which is a nice touch and the toiletries in the bathroom are great too. The decor of the rooms is excellent and is in great condition. My room was quiet unless someone was sleeping in the room above or next to me. I also found a bug including a cockroach in my bathroom every morning. TV has about 10 channels. Buffet breakfast is 4 star but staff is not friendly or helpful. My recommendation would be to hire better employees and take this hotel from a 3.5-4.5 over night! I paid $77 a night including the buffet breakfast so I believe this was a great value for the money. Would stay here again for the same price.

When in Kuala Lumpur
The hotel was super nice I must say. Clean and bright. Very courteous and attentive personnel. I'm a fan of their breakfast buffet. Totally worth the added expense. Hotel is located to transportation which is a BIG plus for travelers like me.

Good location, but a disgrace for a 5-star
Used to be called the Legend hotel, has been renamed Sunway Putra. Location is excellent. But very average or below average amenities. Fail to understand the 60RM daily WiFi costs. Very limited capacity pool and jacuzzi. The rooms are really spacious, but had an ancient cathode ray tube television, with poor quality video and very limited channels. Worst part about the room is - their plumbing/cistern system seems real inferior, every time a tenant upstairs flushes the toilet, you'll hear a long squeaky monotone, annoying and really tough to get some sleep at night with this . Our room was 3 rooms away from the elevator and there's also the constant sound of the elevator moving all the time. Would not stay here again. This is 3-star at best, cant believe how this can be a 5-star!!!

Stayed at the Hotel in 2010 and was so impressed with the facilities and service to rebook it again in 2011. The facilities and service were of a high standard and the breakfast menu was excellent. The Hotel is situated above a shopping mall and very close to two railway stations.

Nice pool and the lobby is impressive
Nice pool and the lobby is impressive but my room was quite basic. It looked more like a room in a three star hotel.
