The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur

It was the best hotel we ever stayed. Ithink everyone should have a taste of Ritz luxury and friendliness once in life time if they can afford it.From the start to end its just fabulous. everything is exotic and perfect. Friendly staff and very courteous and make you feel so special and important. infact they meet and greet you so many times and so many of them that after 7 nights stay we did not feel like going home . I am missing my morning tea and fresh juice and cookies by our personal butler.no one can ask more in a hotel--surpassed excellence

The Hotel is perfectly located in the down town area, the food was good, the Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment but did not receive the same service as the last visit. The evening cakes and the pillow case with my initials had to be requested. The last time, these 2 things were automatic. The toilet was also not well cleaned but acceptable. We hope that their service will go back to their usual service level as that what makes a difference between Ritz and the other 5 star hotels.

good location and walking distance all around

Overpriced and not so clean for what it's worth. I booked in only to find dirt stained carpets but was subsequently provided with a better room. I didn't find it to be of the class it is renowned for. It was more like a boutique 4 star hotel if anything and would recommend anyone willing to spend that much money to check in to other 5 star hotels in the same precinct instead.

every morning a little kid was screaming...not the easiest hotel to travel to from the train...it was close to everything but so are other (less expensive) hotel and actually it faces a cheap hotel..didn't return on my way out of SE Asia.

You expect a great time at the Ritz, but you also expect to pay a lot for it. A friend and I got a 2 double bed room for $130 US in Kuala Lumpur. It was great: nice accommodation, great service, great hotel room. The only downside: the threads show. By that I mean that while the hotel is very nice, some parts of it show more wear than you would expect of a five-star place. At such low rates, the place doesn't have a hard time hiring staff in a relatively inexpensive country. But materials cost money that are about the same in any country (shipping being what it is). So I suspect that the rates can't quite cover keeping everything in new-like condition. Regardless, that doesn't lower the experience in my opinion. Make sure you have a drink in the lounge with the live jazz band. It was fabulous.

さすがリッツカールトン!でもKLのリッツカールトンはちょっと小さめでメインロビーはコンパクトでした。KLとあって治安も心配でしたがセキュリティーはばっちり!かなりいいと思います。 こちらが言わなくても日本人スタッフへ連絡して下さりとても手際が良かったです。今回トリプルルームで予約しましたが私の思い込みでしょうか?サブベッドがあると思っていましたがありませんでした。貴サイトよりサブベットの予約は入ってないという事でこの件も即座に調べて頂き、今回はサービスで付けて頂きました。おまけにアップグレード で。 室内は落ち着いた雰囲気でも高級感のあるお部屋でした。 掃除もとても行き届いていて◎です。 アジアのホテルは対応がとてもスロー＆ちょっと清潔感が・・・という感じですがこのホテルは違いました。お勧めです。 JWマリオットからつながっていてショッピングに便利です。
