Had an amazing romantic stay well needed, the hotel was simply amazing very beautiful a must see.
Just the buffet dinners were a little expensive however well worth it everything was so fresh.

Although I haven't done a lot of 'beach resort' vacations, the Andaman made everything convenient and was wonderful for relaxation. Don't expect a lot of attractions on the island of Langkawi; 1-2 days should cover everything there is to do, and the scuba diving was only average (at least in January). Go here to relax on a minimally crowded beautiful beach. Also the Andaman seems to have more guests than the Datai, which was mostly deserted when we went (although the staff at the Datai paid us a lot of attention as they were fully staffed when we ate dinner there... we didn't like this). Service was inconsistent - some language barriers or confusion with some staff, but excellent service from others.

The beach is one of the best imaginable- soft sand, shallow shelf and many waves. My six year old loved it. Fabulous views of nearby islands and the rainforests.
Food: strangely complicated eating arrangements- restaurant open only for buffet breakfast and dinner. Poolside dining other times. Food took a long time to come. Many menus - poolside, the larder , the bar, the healthy option, the kids menu. So, if they gave you a different menu (by the pool) it didn't include some of the items which were available! Should consolidate into one larger menu. Food not value for money by a far shot.
Gym- not working. Exercise equipment on two different floors as gym being renovated.
Keys- worked erratically. (magnetic)
All in all, a lovely location. Not bad hotel. Food very poor for value. we will probably go back as my kids loved it. we had a lovely holiday. With some improvement, it could be a fabulous holiday destination

L'hotel è posto in un sito bellissimo, immerso nel verde e direttamente collegato alla giungla, tanto che abbiamo potuto vedere animali come scimmie, scoiattoli, e persino un piccolo varano!
I Bungalow sono piuttosto brutti esternamente, internamente sono decenti, anche se arredati con mobili piuttosto vecchi. Buona la colazione e buono, per le Langkawi, il rapporto qualità / prezzo.

Good experience. Room had been renewed, it was nice. Grounds are nice, well kept. Caution: grounds have monkeys, do not leave your room doors open. AC controls were new, so air was nice, well controlled. Breakfast and Dinning selection was focussed on asian clients. I tried the burger but had to spit out bones from the meat. From then I ate from the asian selection and the food was fine. Gym was great, good equipment and AC.

My overall stay in Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort was good. The services was great, the staffs were all friendly. This hotel have its own private beach, it was a great place to relax and enjoy the sunset! However, the location of the hotel in Pantai Kok is far away from other restaurants and shops. You really need to rent a car for your convinence....

not a bad hotel close to town and the food markets a wee bit run down but for $60nz including breakfast it was ok alot better then we were expecting enjoyed our stay there would stay again.

Outstanding architectural design using age old timber, natural stone and intricate carvings. Located in Kuah town with a frontage of three beautiful parks in town with spectacular view of sunset, luxurious yachts and majestic islands of Langkawi.One can sip in this commanding view right from the balcony of all elegantly decorated Suites. Superior and Deluxe rooms have breathtaking view of either the Eagle Square (Landmark of Langkawi) or Gunung Raya (Highest Mountain in Langkawi) right outside their window. Shopping centers, couvenir shops, bank facilities & restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel. The tourist class hotel boasts of its delicious cuisines featuring mainly sumptuous Malay cookings in kampung style.

Location: Near Eagle Square(2-3 mins drive , 15 mins walk), Lengenda Park, Mask. 30-45 minutes of all other locations by Car. So okay to stay if you are willing to travel ~30 mintues to reach your destination.
Transport: Must. Rent and Drive a car. The roads are marked enough to reach the destination. I did not have to make that many u turns.
Food: Nearby Night market has some variery including a 24 hr indian food.( can get dosai, chapathi, nan, north indian, southindian)
Hotel: Averge. space was okay . 4 of us stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. Bath room averge. Carry your own soap, shampoo etc. Hotel provided stuff are pretty cheap. Pillow was very hard. Breakfast:- Only white bread could be taken by us. Vegies. I saw some rice, noodles etc. Coffee - like hot water.
Staff: Okay. Nothing great!
Wireless; worked only one of the 4 days we stayed. Free though.
Safety: Felt safe.
Room Safety: Okay.
did not use the swimming pool. Car park available . The covered car park is a bit tricky ( only about 8-10 card). Carperk just outside the reception ( with in the hotel wall) about a dozen. Okay.
Compared to other trips the Hotel is slighly on the average side but nothing serious to complain about.

Positives :
- Room was very clean & pleasant.
- Breakfast was quite decent.
- Parking was convenient.
- Staff were mostly friendly.
- Latest checkout time is extendable till 6.00pm. (extra charge: RM60)
- Location is about 5-8 minutes away from Kuah Jetty.
Negatives:
- Aircon takes a while to cool the room.
- Wireless Internet was frustrating!
- Upon removing room card from socket, electricity gets cut off TOTALLY.
- Bad, bad pillows.
- Closest beach, Pantai Beringin, (also the only beach) seems liveless and dead.
- Hard to find good food in Kuah town.
If being close to the beach means a lot to you, look for accomodations located around Pantai Cenang. AB Motel has a pretty good reputation so far.
If you're just getting away from the city, on a less picky vacation with your partner, this hotel would serve your needs alright. After all it's who you go with that matters in this case, isn't it? :)

NO security enforcement - The grill door without pad lock. We only have to lock the wooden door . No person incharged for any emergency as the location is 500m from the hotel. The balcony sliding door is also breakdown and dangerous for our kids.
Outlook of the apartment was very run down, no signboard at all. We missed the 1st turn into the building. The lift is working but very dirty inside with handwriting all over the lift door??
The inside apartment cleanliness was very good and privacy.
Thanks to the hotel front office staff, Manis & his female collegue that was very helpful and friendly. Sadly, they have to draw apartment location map as no map being done?
Yes, the price was cheap but not an ideal place to stay if the security hasn't improved.

Great location - in tune with nature.

Me, my husband and my parents had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Upon arrivals, at our delights, we discovered that we were upgraded to premier rooms. This made the waiting for our room to be ready worthwhile. My mother has difficulty walking long distances and the buggy was always at the ready to take her to the room. The staff were always ready to help and the breakfast buffet was amazing! Definitely will return in the future. The rooms, however, could do with some minor touch ups (chipped wood etc.), but nothing major.

Fantastic. Although some upgrade work was being carried out, this did not affect our enjoyment of the beautiful setting and the very friendly staff.
Food is excellent and the atmosphere is very easy going. Saving up for next year.

Citin Langkawi's newly refurbished rooms are clean, cozy, and best of all: a great bargain. It is undoubtedly the preferred hotel among the young and young at heart!
Citin Hotel Langkawi is also located right in the middle of Kuah for your duty free shopping, culinary and banking needs. Its strategic location places it walking distance from various duty free shops and 5 minutes from the local jetty which ferries people from Langkawi to the mainland. A 20 minute drive away is the well-known beach of Chenang and just 30 minutes from the hotel is Langkawi International Airport.
Langkawi comprises of 99 tropical islands, shrouded with an intriguing heritage of myths and legends. The most famous being the legend of Mahsuri, a beautiful maiden who was unjustly accused of adultery and sentenced to death. You are going to Langkawi to enjoy the outdoors and not to hang out in the hotel all day. Consequently, you get what you pay for. I did think the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The rooms are simple but clean and well maintained although the hotel is not new. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is adequate but not spectacular but overall, pricing of rooms with bf is very competitive. Location is remote if you want to try other restaurants but you can rent scooters for 40 M$ at the travel agency by the dock. Drawback is that you have to pay for Internet access at 16 M$ per hour or 32 per day.

朝食時間が8時半からで、もう少し、早い時間のスタートだといいと思いました。
リゾート地だからなのでしょうね。
こじんまりとしたフレンドリーなホテルでとても良かったです。

Temple Tree is is our new luxury resort located adjacent to Bon Ton. This resort consists of 8 houses made up of antique buildings of Chinese, Malay, Indian and Eurasian origin. This is a new concept where the villas can be rented as one or as individual hotel rooms, with 14 rooms in total. They are beautifully furnished with Asian antiques and textiles and all individually decorated. Temple Tree fully supports LASSie, Langkawi Animal Shelter & Sanctuary Foundation.

Very nice, quite location. Very nice pool and beach. The water there isn't good for swimming but it's in a beautiful area. Rooms were clean and newer.

-Smaller than I expected, although not very busy so the pool & surrounds wasn't too busy.
-Had expected a better & more useable beach.
-Struggled to get a bottle of wine for dinner - only house wine available & then kept at a different bar so we had to wait a while until it arrived.
-All staff very friendly & eager to please.
-They readily organised a 6 seater car hire at the last minute.

Berjaya Resprt is a fantastic place to stay, great rooms, very good staff, fantastic Thai Restaurant, and very close to Cable car & Seven wells. Highly recommend the place if you want a nice and quite holiday, quite far from the main towns though.
