- The Datai is 30 minutes by car from the islands international airport, which is 20 kilometers west of Pulau Langkawis main town, Kuah.
Departure points for visitors who opt to travel by boat or ferry to Langkawi are from Kuala Perlis, Kuala Kedah and Penang. Visitors from Thailand depart from Satun. The Langkawi Ferry Terminal is located at Kuah town approximately 45 minutes by car to The Datai.

初めてThe Datai に泊まりましたが、熱帯雨林の森から
初めてThe Datai に泊まりましたが、熱帯雨林の森からビーチにつながる急な斜面を切り開いた、森に包まれた落ち着いたリゾートでした。森の斜面から海を望む眺めもよく、アップグレードしてもらった森の中のコテージタイプのＳｕｐｅｒｉｏｒＶｉｌｌａもとても静かに過ごせました。 食事もいい食材を使って味もいいものでした。難を言えば街から遠く出歩くにはレンタカーでも 借りておいた方が安くあがりそうなことと、森を徘徊する小さな猿に食べ物を取られないよう 戸締まりや荷物には注意を払う必要があることでしょう。料金はやや高く朝食は一人3000円近くしてしまいますが、それでもこのホテルを一度は訪れてみる価値が十分にあると思います。

かなり孤立した場所にあります。 快適なホテルなので、ホテル滞在を楽しみたい方にはオススメです。 ただ、ホテル内の飲食は、法外に高いです。 例えば、ビールは街中のコンビニの約4倍です。 朝食・昼食でも、一人3,000円くらいはかかります。 金銭的なことは気にせずに、快適さのみを求める方には、 強くオススメ出来るホテルかと思います。

Très bonne prestation Hôtel remarquable en pleine jungle. On se croit seul au monde... Seul petit bémol: Le prix relativement cher pourrait inclure au moins les petits déjeuners.
