Not bad but disappointed
Positives: 1. The hotel for the most part is beautiful. 2. Staff is polite. 3. Beds are comfortable 4. In door pool Negatives: 1. Corinthia is located in area where surrounding restaurants are limited. The more touristy areas of the island are a 20 euro cab ride away each way. 2. Pool and gym close early and open late. 3. Tap water tastes lousy. The hotel charges a lot per bottle and doesn't have a vending machine anywhere in the building. Must get it from the mini bar or order room service. 4. I was charged nearly 25 euro on bottled water at dinner on New Year's not realizing they were charging 4.5 euro per bottle. Restaurants outside the hotel don't charge for it or it's minimal. 5. The hair dryer mounted to wall in the bathroom is garbage. I recommend bringing your own. 6. Laundry service isn't available on weekends or holidays. The hotel doesn't make this clear upfront and it resulted in me waiting a full extra day longer to receive my items back. Also, a few of the items smelt as though they hadn't been cleaned. 7. Hotel does not offer enough casual restaurant options during the winter months. 8. This isn't directed at the hotel, but the general level of service at restaurants is consistently terrible. Wait staff generally doesn't stop by to refill drinks. Long waits for checks. Long waits for service after sitting down. Perhaps I chose the wrong locations, but food was bad to mediocre at best.

Stay in St. Julian's. Even if you have to pay more for the hotel, you'll save on cabs and commuting time.

Excellent and Friendly Staff
The staff was very friendly and helpful, always addressing me by my name after they met me. The spa experience was very positive. The hotel is an upscale suburb near the presidential palace. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood and is not located in the heart of the action/pulse of the island. If you're looking for relaxed and quiet after a day of work/sightseeing then the CP is for you. If you want to be in the heart of the action/nightlife then you might want to consider another location.

The hotel is first class and combined with a warm and relaxed friendliness that makes it outstanding. The staff are welcoming and friendly and comfort, service and cleanliness faultless! As the hotel is a few miles from the coast there is a mini-bus for guests which is great but the organisation of that could be improved as we had booked but when we arrived there were more travellers than seats! But this is a small point in an otherwise fantastic stay!

Malta servings are huge. Order the "Starter" for dinner is fine for meals so you have room for all the great pastry and ice creams available.

Very good hotel
A very good, quiet hotel. Beautiful rooms and excellent service. Priced very reasonably but Internet is way too expensive.

Conrintha Palace Hotel & Spa is
Conrintha Palace Hotel & Spa is a nice hotel for families who just want to go to Malta and relax. It is a nice hotel and not really expensive but its location is bad - far away from Sct. Julians and Valetta. You need to book a car if you don't want to pay too much driving with taxies. But the service on the hotel is okay, nice staff.

Nous y reviendrons
Très bon hôtel central proche de l arrêt de bus, avec un service gratuit de navette pour valetta, calme, spacieux, confortable, peu de monde en avril et du soleil ! Spa pour la détente le soir bien chauffé. Bon breakfast .
