- Lies directly across Sliema's only small sandy beach which sits between a lovely 3km stretch of rocky beaches. The hotel is also conveniently located amongst cafes, restaurants and the beautiful seafront promenade which is adorned by cafes, gabbanas overlooking the Mediterranean seas. Moreover, Carlton is a short 10 minute walk to Sliema Shopping Centre and Malta's largest indoor shopping mall, 'The Point' which houses over 60 brand stores. To the left, also a short 10 minute walk, is the busy night life spot Paceville within the popular St Julians. A bus stop is situated just outside the hotel main entrance.

ideale Lage, bestes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis
Das Hotel bietet das bestmögliche Preis-/Leistungsverhältlnis in Malta. Vor dem Hotel liegt eine lange Fussgängerzone direkt am Meer mit der Möglichkeit zum Joggen und Spazieren. Ein kleiner aber feiner Sandstrand liegt gleich gegenüber. Die gemütlichen Restaurants in nächster Nähe in Sliema sind einladend. Die Meersicht vom Frühstücksraum und von der Dachterrasse des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet. Für Hotelgäste mit Balkon auf Strassenseite muss allerdings mit erheblichem Verkehrslärm gerechnet werden. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist leider schon um 09h30 geschlossen, für uns eher zu früh. Trotzdem: für uns jederzeit wieder!
