Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach Cancun Resort and Spa

Starting with the Amenities, you pay for everything and I mean everything. Even a cheap motel like Motel 6 gives you free coffee in the morning. This hotel you will pay for it. We had dinner at the restaurant once, first mistake; not only did they not have local food but the chicken with spaghetti was atrocious. If your paying for ambiance then you got your monies worth because the food was terrible. The last day we thought we would try breakfast and give the hotel a chance to redeem themselves, second mistake; 54 US dollars later we left feeling as though we had been robbed. I booked this hotel because of the reviews and the pictures of the spa. The reviews must have come from people who either don't care about price for value or have to much money. As far as the pictures of the spa, we didn't get a chance to see the spa since it was 85 US dollars per person per day just to use the indoor pool. If you wanted to treat your wife to a massage that will set you back 300 US dollars, when you can get a 40 dollar massage not less then a block from the hotel at a local establishment. Room was clean but the maids insist on coming to your room every night to turn down the sheets and give you chocolates. That is nice but annoying when your in the middle of things. One night one of the maintenance men walked in to change a light bulb. We were already asleep and by the time we knew what was going on he was halfway in the door. As far as location you are stuck to the beach in front of the hotel, we tried to walk to a local lighthouse on the beach and were told that unless we were members of the hotel that was between ours and the lighthouse that we would have to turn back. You are also at the end of the street where every major bar is so at night it will be loud. I would only recommend this hotel to the people that I don't like, as far as others keep looking this one isn't worth the money.

Rooms are beautiful with direct views of the ocean. Service is wonderful. Always with a smile and genuine about being very helpful. Worth the extra dollars for the grand club level. The staff there was cheerful, helpful, and the food was the same as you would find in the restaurants but just smaller portions. Though all the staff was very helpful, Lidia Eduardo were exceptional. The only set back is the location. Close to the strip that reminds me of Las Vegas. But the beach Ian's the pool more than makes up for it. We considered Ritz Carlton and JW Marriott but when we looked at the hotels during our visit, we decided we made the right choice. We loved it so much at Fiesta Americana, we extended outstay.

The best of this hotel is the service. All employees are outstanding and always willing to help you with anything you need.

Awesome live music at the lobby. Great service and nice breakfast buffet.

Two families with children (total of 4 boys - ages 9-12) spent Thanksgiving week at the FA Grand Coral Beach. The hotel is a fantastic property with great amenities. The pool is expansive and the rooms are a great size. Tips: stay in the west wing, ask for floor 6 and above for best views, pool by west wing is heated-pool by east wing is not, bfast buffet is excellent by expensive. Great restaurants on site from casual to formal. Hotel is in a great location. You can walk to many restaurants, shops, a calm beach on premises, ferry to Isla Mujeres next door, etc. Even McDonalds and Dominos are right around the corner. It is hard to beat! The service staff is always pleasant and helpful. Susanna, our concierge, even had champagne and a small cake placed in the room when she found out about our anniversary! We were very surprised and extremely grateful. I would totally recommend to others and return without hesitation.

Our first time in Cancun Mexico and Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach resort and Spa exceeded our expectations. The staff are hospitable, courteous and helpful. The hotel is very nice and clean. The view from our room was really awesome. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Fell in love with this hotel when I seen the pictures on the website. This is the best hotel in Cancun according to everyone who asked us were we stayed. The service was impeccable,location was perfect close to all the clubs and restaurants on the strip. The mall wasnt that far either cab ride was about 80-90pesos which is about $5. The buffet breakfast offerred every morning was well worth it. They had champagne, mimosa, margaritas and all which means if u want to get drunk at breakfast you can. The food is great. Only down side is the $20internet charge but we got a refun because it was really slow.starbucks across the street offers free Internet
