Good value downtown hotel at the edge of hotel zone
This hotel is a cheap and clean. For me this is perfect because I spent most of my time with outside activities. Why pay an expensive all-inclusive beach hotel, if I only spend 10 hours/day in the hotel. For noise sensitive person, this hotel may not be suitable. You can hear clearly the conversation of the neighboring rooms, including the voice of them making love.

pet friendly
great service and glad to find an nice affordable place with pet culture. Not far from the beach, but sadly Cancun beaches do not accept pets.

We had an early flight and needed a room for one night. The staff was great, They were very accepting of our dog and two cats, and six large suitcases. The room was wonderful, beautiful and clean. The bed was comfortable. It is also close to Las Americas Mall, which my son enjoyed.

cosmetic surgery retreat
I went to Cancun for cosmetic surgery and I have to say, the staff at La Quinta was wonderful. The beds are hard as a rock, the shelf was ripped off the wall in the shower, the clock didn't keep time and every time I needed my key to open a door, I had to have it reprogramed. The people put in the room next to me were always noisy. But the staff was wonderful! There was a large variety of selections on the breakfast bar which was lovely. Over all I wold highly recomend this hotel for anyone looking for a great bargain.

FRESH FRUIT VARIETY, EGGS, A FEW MEATS, CHILAQUILES, GREAT FRESH JUICES...NOT CLOSE TO THE BEACH AT ALL OR ENTERTAINMENT, BUT IF YOU HAVE A CAR IT IS THE PERFECT SPOT FOR A BUDGET HOTEL. RESTAURANTS CLOSE BY ARE GREAT, IT'S WERE THE LOCALS EAT.

Wow, this hotel was not what i expected for the the money. Hotel was down the street from beach,clean,and a every good breakfast . I wouldn't look any where else for a hotel in cancun.
