ME Cancun is a contemporary adult-oriented luxury resort concept. It is a South Beach experience in the Mexican Caribbean. We don't like to call it all-inclusive, but we do like to call it "A Complete Experience Beyond Mere Accommodation". Accommodations can only be booked as a "Complete Experience " package(AI). However the resort remains a social hub for the local jet-set with its bars, restaurants, and beach club accessible to non resort guests on a "pay to play " basis

Very nice adult resort. Great beach access, centrally located, great pool area. No small children running around. Resort rooms and facilities posh but some minor issues such as in room mini bar refrigerator and in room telephone did not work. No balconies available.... But windows partially open to hear ocean at night. Most staff helpful and professional... Some restaurant servers great and some not so... Food and drinks only average and very pricey. If you visit, use the ME Complete, mostly all inclusive plan. Caution, read the plan "fine print" on what is and is not included with the all inclusive pan.

Very loud, needed the earplugs provided on the nightstand.
Breakfast was great and the staff was good. That's the only positive. Our safe didn't work in the room, and we called for service 3 times. The third time we stayed till he fixed it and made him demo it and it still didn't work so only then did he investigated far enough to fix it. The TV remote didn't work except occasionally. The most romantic restaurant was the water grill and it was lovely but the food was very poor and had a sparse salad bar. But the noise/music was extremely loud until 3:30 or 4 in the morning even with the windows closed. I used the ear plugs 2x and it helped only a little. Definitely would not go back.

Short drive from hotel
The dinner cruise on the Columbus was excellent. Delicious Lobster and/or steak and side dishes. Very good and a fun cruise. We opted for the early dinner cruise and we were able to watch the sunset. It was the best part of the trip.

Perfect relaxation getaway
Bartender/barista at coffee bar was a highlight. He even made a special martini for me. He was very funny and patient with all the guests even though he was the only one there. If he didn't have what you wanted he would go and restock it. The water grill was amazing. A must for the meat lovers. The level concierge were awesome especially when we were having issues with arranging for our shuttle back to the airport-they took care of it in 2 seconds. We travel to cancun for rest and relaxation and this hotel fit the bill.

Hotel on a Beach
This hotel is lovely but not a resort feel. Walking distance to shopping which was great since I love to shop. All dinners were a la carte except breakfast and we had to make reservations everyday for all our dinners. Would like to have seen a buffet all the time in case we didnt feel like dressing up for a formal dinner. On the weekends the club disco noise was horrific! So if you would like to get away and relax, this is not the place. We were on the 7th floor and we could still hear the loud base noise coming up from the club below. And it played all day on the beach too. Very stressful. Also, since this was an adult oriented hotel I was hoping to be comfortably topless, that I wouldn't be the only one, however there was only one other girl topless. I would go for a more european resort next time. All in all this is a nice hotel on a beach not a resort. The beach btw would have perfect had the water been calmer. Absolutely beautiful except for the rough waves.

Great place for a bachelorette party
ME was a great place for a bachelorette party. The hotel was very nice, clean, trendy, and the staff was great (particularly Carlos who worked the pool and beach). We stayed for three days and hardly left the resort but it worked out well. Although it was mainly couples and some groups, we weren't looking for a Vegas experience so it worked out. The food wasn't the best but pretty good for an all inclusive resort.
