Omni Cancun Hotel and Villas - All Inclusive

You can complain about how cold your ice cream is, but I’m going to make the best of it! I spent 6 great nights at the Omni Cancun with my wife. We had the All-inclusive package with an ocean balcony view. We used Best Day travel to get us from the airport to the hotel. Upon arrival the staff was excellent. We ate at all the restaurants the hotel had to offer, which is 7! The food was wonderful and the drinks were great. If you sign up for the Omni select membership on Omni’s website you get free WiFi and that worked great for us. I read reviews that the pools are cold, well I would say it was just as warm as the ocean and we had a wonderful time in both! A lot of activities pool side were happing, also if you want to chill on the beach we had a waiter every 10 mins come and check on us! The beach bar closes at 6pm just in time to grab a bite, The Omni’s lobby bar was the perfect place for a night drink the service was fast and spot on. They had pools side entertainment until 10pm every night. I read reviews on people having loud neighbors and paper thin rooms, well some of that is out of your control, I did notice the ceiling noise from upstairs when a chair was being slid across the floor but that’s all. I will come back to the Omni just not soon enough!

we booked the hotel w/out the all inclusive package, and added the 99 dollar per day per person all inclusive deal upon arrival. the manager tried to charge us 119 a day, but i have already called before and found out the cost to be only 89. after a short discussion, we got the rate of 99 per day. it's a good deal consider that you can eat and drink as much as you want through out the day until 3pm on the day that you leave. food was so so overall.

This hotel is a very nice family destination. The breakfast buffet is very good. If you don't want to eat at the hotel all the time, the all inclusive may not be the best deal for you. Don't take a taxi, but instead use the local bus - very cheap.

Booked this last minute based upon reading many very + reviews. Upon check in we had been given a room with 2 murphy beds. Easily remedied by awesome staff Rooms very average. Food ok at best. Beach awesome. Pools nice. Overall, there was nothing wrong with the hotel, but there was nothing exceptional either and that is the problem. For the money you are getting what inwould consider a moderately upscale resort as compared to a full blown upscale resort. This was not my first time to Cancun and will not be my last. it will however be my last time at the omni. Of note, upon check out, the bellman asked us what we thought of the omni as compared to other resorts. I was honest with him. He told me that he has been hearing the same thing and wanted to let us know there was a new manager

All of the employees at the hotel were extremely friendly and warm! The hotel was very clean and the facilities were clean and well taken care of. I would stay here again! The only complaint I would make is that the food was not very good. We found breakfast at the restaurant on the beach was good if we ordered omelettes from the kitchen but other than that lunch and dinner were disappointing and over-priced.

Everything was great except for the fact that outside our elevator there was a desk where people were bothering us everyday about accepting a free meal in exchange for us to sit through a 90 minute presentation that tries to sell you on a time share thing. Also, when we went to the desk for beach towels they tried to sell you some kind of water excursion. The rest of the staff was very friendly.

Enjoyed our stay from start to finish. Our room was clean and had excellent view. Went with the all inclusive food was better than most buffet's Had 3 meals at DaVinci nice atmosphere and excellent food and service. Drinks were made well and served promptly I thought it was great to have the beach side service. The pools could have been warmer the ocean was warmer than the pools. The staff at the Omni are top notch!!

Food, drink and service excellent. Room was very good, not great. A lot of steps from beach to room elevator. Big pitct to join their Vacation Club. Could not get into best restruant because I din not know to pack nice pants. Other restruants (2) were very good with excellent service. Went all inclusive and thought it was a good value. Will go back next year for sure!

Hotel personnel were GREAT. Hotel had no elevators -- had to walk 6 flight to get to our room on the 3rd floor. Room key (card) continually had to be re-"juiced" -- would not work and we then had walk back to the 1st floor to have it "recharged." The bed was very HARD when compared to ours at home. Food was very expensive. ORBITZ erred when booking our hotel -- sent us to Cancun instead in error. It cost us "mucho" dollars to get a taxi to where we were supposed to be! Will NEVER, NEVER use Orbitz again!!!!!!!!!! Have never experienced these type of errors with any other travel company.
