Omni Cancun Hotel and Villas - All Inclusive

the beach areas are rocky and not great for swimming in the ocean but the pools made up for it. will return

Omni was amazing when you drive up it has a beautiful view and waterfalls in the front. We were met at the front door and our bags were held as we were checked in it took about 5 minutes then we were given a short tour as we were taken to our room. The room was great a king size bed and marble floors nice shower and large mirrors and counter space. We signed up for the free service to become a select guest on the omni website and were given two plush bath robes to use for our stay and two free drinks each morning. Always chose the ocean view, you can look at all the pools and see all the attractions the hotel has going on and also watch all the action at the pools, plus you can watch the parasailers in the ocean and see the sun rise. I think the most impressive thing was they are always cleaning at Omni. I don't think there was a time I didn't see someone cleaning. The maids come to clean your room and will also do a night turn down where they basically clean your room again. Omni is right in the middle of everything and you can take a bus ride for less then a dollar to anywhere you may want to go. All in all this was an excellent trip and we will most definetly use this hotel and site again.

The Omni probably has one of the best pool/seaside entertainment areas out of all of the hotels. The staff was courteous and nice and if I had to do it again, I would chose this hotel over one of the all inclusives any day.

The hotel had a prime location with the lagoon view from our room. Everyday we got up to the bright sunshine and the exceptional view outside our window. One good aspect of Omni is its numerous pools and the beach close to these pools. The views no matter where we were on the property was impressive. The staff were very courtious and friendly. We even booked all our tours from the many agenies present inside the hotel..that was an added bonus and also seemed reliable. I would also recommend everyone to book tours inside the facility ...because they are reliable. The rooms were clean and seemed worth the money we spent. Guess the only negative aspect of Omni was that the rooms did not have internet and we had to go to the crowded lobby to use their wireless internet. Overall we had a wondeful time there and I would definetely vist Omni again.

This was our first trip to Cancun and it was fantastic. The Omni was immaculate with crews working constantly to keep it so.The room was beautiful with an ocean and pool view to die for. In spite of the pool area being just below it was not noisy or disturbing in the least.I did not see a lot of activities geared for young children but that is why I booked at the Omni.The kids that were there did have a great time it seemed, though. I had heard that in Mexico there would be no hot water or air conditioning and the party noise in Cancun would be overwhelming, however none of this was true. There was no end of hot water, the AC worked great, and noise was non existant. The staff was extemely helpful with everything from tours to making phone calls. Yes there were large rocks shrinking the beach area but that is mother nature. Everything here was great and I would definitely return .

We were very comfortable at the Onmi hotel, the only thing that I wish we ould of had was the requested queen size bed that we wanted since we were celebrating our anniversary and we ended in a 2 queen size beds room. The bathroom and the bed themselves were nice. It had plenty of space to hang our clothes and we also loved the safe option. The service ws excellent, the personnel working there was amazing. It was very accesible to take the public transportation and get to any place we wanted.

I have traveled a lot and prefer to stay in the better hotels rather than slum it. The level of service we received from the staff at the Omni compares very well to the staff at some of the top hotels I have stays at in London. I could not fault the service at all. There is just one point which bothered me a bit at the Omni. During the day at the main hotel bar in the lobby area the drinks were served in plastic cups. When you pay $12 for a Martini or $7 for a glass of wine plastic cups just are not acceptable. We had a great 2 week stay.

The Omni was awesome. Overall wonderful experience. Dinning pricey but a very good selection. We wished we had brought our kids, it would have been fun for them at this hotel. Staff was very helpful. We will come back.
