300 beautifully decorated rooms. It has an American. All of our guestrooms feature one king or two double beds, private bath, shower and hairdryer, individually controlled air conditioning, alarm clock radio, satellite color TV featuring international programming with remote control, direct-dial telephone with voicemail system, safe deposit box and iron/iron board.
Hotel Amenities:
1 swimming pool- A state-of-art fitness center, Gym, 3 restaurants, 2 bars and 1 snack bar, nonsmoking floors available
Kids Club including a new mini water park featuring The Arch a themed aquatic area with elephants, gorillas, zebra, rhinos, hippos, giraffes and a kiddies pool, water jets. A great pad to cool off. This 6,324 sq ft recreation area includes the mini club section with video games, arts and crafts, painting lessons and much more. Schedule is from 9 am to 6 pm in winter season and 9 am to 7 pm in summer season.
Daily adult activities include pool aerobics, bingo, contests, fashion shows, cooking lessons, and athletic competitions. Nightly entertainment shows such as Mexican night and Latino night are produced by the resort's activities/entertainment staff in an air-conditioned theater. After-dark activities also include complimentary one-way transportation to the nightlife area of Cancun Amenity highlights:
One pool complex comprises an expansive two-level pool, with the upper level cascading into a two-section lower level featuring a swim-up bar The beach is powdery white.

Could have been better!
The hotel was not that great. The rooms were not up to my standards. There were no king single beds when I checked in so my partner and I had to have a double bed. There are no smoking rooms which upset my bf. The food was not good at all. The buffet food had no taste. The Marco Polo restaurant was the best, the food was exceptional. The staff was more than nice to us. The pool was wonderful, we loved the swim up bar. And of course the blue waters was the highlight of our trip.

Relaxing Getaway
The hotel was nice. The staff were very friendly. The one thing that could change is instead of saying someones going to let you know more about the hotel is to let people know it's a sales pitch for a timeshare. The food selction was good and you didn't have to wait long at all for seating. Outside the hotel was clean and the pool was good. The one thing that needs to be changed/upgraded are the beds. They weren't soft and you could feel all the springs.

Plan a day trip through the tour desk or before arriving at Xel Ha. This is a large natural waterpark which was amazing. Food and drinks (alcohol as well) included.

Hotel staff if very friendly, but caught housekeeping going through my things with my dresser drawers open kept do not disturb sign on door entire time. Lock all your stuff up! Food was horrible. Entertainment area very small. Hotel old and everything is falling apart. This place shouldn't be called a resort.

Excelent service and staff with wonderful food. Fun place for families with small children, or adults only. Wonderful nightly entertainment variety. Clean beaches with crystal clear water.

Royal Solaris review
My husband and I both became very ill, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea for 3 days, had to see a physician and start on antibiotics. This is the sickest I think I have ever been. Never going to Mexico again.

Royal Solaris offers little in night life entertainment. They bus you out each night to a night club with the cost of $50.00 per person for all you can drink and nightclub fee. I think an all inclusive resort should offer its own nighttime entertainment.

TT spring break getaway
The hotel and staff were very friendly- When i go back i need to make sure it isnt Mexico's spring break- alot of small children that parents didnt watch--other than that the beach was beautiful as was the pool area-

Wonderful get away!
Hotel was perfect. We all three got some gi bug 1 day. After that. All was wonderful. The only suggestion I would say is to put teen or college spring breakers together in one area. They are too loud and rude. Pool was great. Beach location is close to a sandbar and water was wonderful. Perfect. Food excellent. I think overall this hotel is closer to a 5 star. Loved it!
