Royal Solaris Cancun Resort, Marina & Spa- All Inclusive

Lots of fun, all inclusive is an awesome feature!!!

We have been to many resorts but this one was great they made of feel at home the staff was so friendly and helpful. Great place if you have small kids lots of stuff to do even for the teenagers. after the thrid day some of the staff members were calling us by name which made us feel like special guest not sure if this how all guest get treated but we will defintly be back to this resort. Great staff. Great location. Could use a bigger and cleaner pool.

Nice hotel, thin walls- not good with the baby next door. The timeshare people were a bit irritating as I simply wanted to relax on vacation. Great beach access, great wait staff and bar tenders. Good shows- were fun, even for adults. NYE was incredible. A job well done.

We were upgraded to the Grand Caribbean Solaris tower and the food choices were excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was quiet and with a nice relaxed atmosphere. I will certaintly go back.

Alcohol was horrible quality. Food was decent. Pool area was nice. Very family orientated if that is what you are looking for. Rooms were average.

We had a nice time at the Royal Solaris. Get past the first day when the staff tries to get you to to become a VIP member. Stay true to the reason you are going away in the first place. The room was clean, the wait staff was friendly, respectful, and personable. The housekeeper was efficient, and the front desk was nice as well. At night people congregate in the lobby where there is entertainment. Be weary of the younger people who utilize the all you can drink. They should be going out to a bar or club in Cancun, but didn't. The younger crowd got a little too loud. The food was good, restaurants were nice. There were activities going on by the pool, but you didn't feel forced to participate which was nice. Bartenders were quick as well. Finally, the beach. There is nothing better, the sand, the water, it was good stuff!

We liked the entertainment. We visited family while we were in Cancun. In general, we liked the friendly atmosphere of the people there.

Getting to our room was a maze, mastered after two days. The hotel was clean, staff very friendly and helpful. The Air conditioner was not as cold as we would've like it, but it was comfortable. 24 hour room service was perfect after a night downtown. They had a calm and relaxing side, and a more active side. We enjoyed the bike riding activity, and pool volleyball. Fun!!! Also the food was pretty good.

As a family vacation we had a wonderful time! All six of us (grandparents, myself and husband along w/ our kids ages 7 & 10. We were a little skeptical because of the reviews but I was very impressed overall. Our room was outdated and old but when all you do is sleep and shower there I was fine with it. The food was actually decent and we got to eat at Marco Polo (very nice) and the hut restaurant several times during our stay along with the buffet inside. For the price we paid for all six of us, we had a great time and were pleased. The entertainment was awesome, my daughter loved seeing the shows during the evening and the pool activities during the day was great! MC [...] we loved you & the staff at the pool were so much fun! The only thing I would of asked is play a little more american music when not playing pool activities, seemed like a lot of mexican music but then again we are in mexico :). Also, I would highly recommend the Hummer Jungle Tour while out there. It is all day 9:00-5:30pm but worth it. All 6 of us loved it and had a great experience. [...] the tour guide made the tour fabulous and exciting, he's awesome! If your ok with old and outdated rooms which we stayed on the Lagoon side, it is a great place to stay with kids and grandparents for such a great price! Beach is beautiful also, we did pack life jackets for the kids and glad we did because the waves were rough but they had a blast since we had life jackets for them. Like I say, if your not a picky person this place was great for our family, we had FUN and didn't COMPLAIN!! Too many people complain about the small stuff :) I can't wait to return :)
