The Beloved Hotel Playa Mujeres by Excellence - All Inclusive Family Friendly

Beyond all expectations. The secret is the staff. they are hard working, courteous and always concerned about your comfort and welfare. The food is amazing!

The hotel was nice not a 5 stars I would say it was a 4 stars. The hotel was very quiet after 10 it was almost empty and most lights were off. I didnt like the fact that you couldn't go to the pool after 8 and that the jacuzzi in the rooms could not be turned on after 8. The food was good but mostly average. Drinks were good but not well prepared for a 5 star hotel. The beach was not pretty on that area and there werent enough chairs either at the pool or at beach. Some people were very nice and some other like the guys that served at the pool were not in a good mood and would take forever to bring either food or drinks if they werent tipped before.

Great food, awesome drinks, beautiful room, friendly and honest staffs (left cell phone, security picked it up and delivered to me in a timely manner).

Service couldn't be better! Staff is always asking you if you need anything else. Food is great! The rooms are comfortable, big, but may be a little open, that is, there is no division from the bathroom. So if you require a little more privacy, may be this is not the type of room for you.

THIS HOTEL WAS WAY BEYOND WHAT I EXPECTED.WE JUST GOT BACK AND CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN,THE ROOM WAS GREAT AND THE FOOD AND THE SERVICE WAS UNBELIEVABLE.PEOPLE LIKE FREDA, JORGE, ALEX,CHRISTIAN, CONCEPTION,DANIEL,AND SUSANNA, ARE REASONS ALONE TO RETURN.THE ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THE BED WAS ALITTLE HARD BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS PERFECT.I HAVE READ SOME REVIEWS WHO STATED THE FOOD PORTIONS WERE'NT BIG ENOUGH, BUT IT'S ALL INCLUSIVE SO IF YOU DID'NT GET YOUR FILL JUST ASK FOR MORE.THE THING THAT I WAS MOST IMPRESSED WITH IS THESE PEOPLE ARE TRAINED TO TRY TO REMEMBER YOUR NAME SO WHEN YOU ASK FOR SOMETHING THEY SEEMED TO ALWAYS TO BE ABLE TO REMEMBER,TO SOME PEOPLE THIS MIGHT NOT BE A BIG DEAL BUT THERE 109 ROOMS AND I HEARD A NUMBER OF GUEST MAKE A COMMENT ABOUT THIS.IN CLOSING IF YOU WANT TO STAY A QUITE AND PEACEFUL RESORT WITH GREAT FOOD AND AMAZING SERVICE THIS MIGHT BE THE PLACE FOR YOU.

We loved the hotel as soon as we arrived there! From the courteous staff to the refreshing welcome drinks, the clean and gorgeous room, bulgari amenities etc etc... This was our first trip to Cancun with 3 years old so we didn't know how far this place will be from Cancun hotel zone.. It's about 20-30min by cab but we just wanted relaxed so it worked out perfectly! I recommend to reserve a private transportation from/to hotel as it is about 40-50min from the Airport. There is absolutely nothing else around the hotel, but the hotel can arrange a transportation for you if you need one. We did not use kids club on this trip, but it seemed decent.. And they have perfect kids' pool with four different slides and the water height was just about my son's knee:) If you are unsure about going here, just go. Especially one's with kids... It's not overly crowded so you can relax well even with kids and you'll want to come back as soon as you are back home;)

The location is great, super private, has to go through two gated community to get here. This place is absolutely beautiful. The hotel is very clean and the staffs are super nice. The spa was great. This is really a five-star resort! I really want to give a 5 stars rating but have to duct one star because we booked a room with king size bed but they gave us a room with two full beds and I was there with my boyfriend... :( The hotel was fully booked so we end up pushed the two beds together but this should've been avoided. Also, while we were there, I don't know if they keep resetting the generator on our floor or something is going on, sometime everything will shut down for like 10 sec and came back on afterwards; it kept doing that at least couple of times a night while we were there... but my friends at a different floor didn't have that problem though. Put the minor problems aside, overall I really like this hotel, love the location, the staffs are great, will definitely go back. :)

Service food facility all top class. Wine and Wifi needs improvement. Inconsistently spotty on and off coverage.

The Hotel is amazing! Absolutely gorgeous on the inside and out! This is definitely a 5 star hotel! It wasn't very crowded, which was nice! The food was great! THe scenery was beautiful! My only gripe was that, I planned to get married during my stay and a few family members were in town, at a seperate hotel. When I mentioned to the front desk that the family members were planning to meet us at the hotel, so we could leave together. I was told, I would have to purchase a day pass which was $100 per person. Otherwise, they were not allowed in the room and/or facilities. Actually, without the day pass, they would only be allowed to sit in the lobby. I tried reasoning with them and explaining that they would only stay for 1 hour prior to the shuttle pickup, but I was told that I would still have to pay for them to enter our room. I was able to talk them down to $50 since they weren't planning to eat anything! But I found it to be very unreasonable that I had to pay for my family members to visit us in the hotel on our wedding day!

My family and I had a great time. I wish that the hotel had more of a selection in the Menu (Food). Maybe a Habachi resturant would of been great like in the Excellence next door.
