Escape to paradise. Sink your toes into the soft white sand and surrender to the caress of the warm breeze in your own Cancun hideaway. An enchanting beachfront setting, spacious villas, five-star services and friendly ambiance, make The Royal Caribbean a heavenly spot for relaxing and reconnecting with family and friends.

One registered guest in each villa must be at least 25 years of age and willing to accept responsibility for the actions of all villa occupants.

Guests staying on Saturday night may need to change units. The hotel will work to avoid this scenario, but when necessary, management will work directly with guests to streamline this process.

The beach is just the beginning! The resort offers plenty of activities to keep you and your children entertained. Enjoy the oversized freshwater pools, play tennis, stay trim at the fitness center and try your hand at sail boating on the lagoon. There are additional amenities at The Royal Mayan and The Royal Islander next door.

As the sun goes down and the Cancun skyline sparkles with lights, it's time to think about dinner, and there are five restaurants to choose from in the tri-resort complex, each offering a different menu and ambiance.

Location
The Royal Caribbean is located in the Cancun Hotel Zone between The Royal Mayan and The Royal Islander. The nearest golf course is the Kukulcan Golf Club at the Hilton Cancun and Kukulcan Plaza and La Isla Shopping Village are a ten-minute drive away.

A quick get-away

A very nice resort with extremely friendly and helpful staff. I wanted to stay somewhere near the beach and this fit the bill. A beautiful, well-kept beach just steps away. A very spacious living, dining, kitchen area. We didn't use a lot of the amenities, but there was a huge, meandering pool so it never seemed crowded and pool activities for those who wished to participate. The only glitch was that since we stayed over until Sunday, we had to relocate for the last day (their normal rental period is Saturday till Saturday). It was a bit of a hassle, but it did give us a different perspective from the top floor of a differently oriented building.

A good place for families

We didn't realize this hotel is primarily time shares and not a full service hotel. Lots of family groups there for Xmas vacation. Many many children. It was pleasant there, but, as a couple, it wasn't what we wanted. Also, a free Sunset Cruise was to be included with our reservation. We called and booked the cruise with Greyline Tours and they never came to pick us up! Disappointing.

Selected Royal Caribbean to join friends while celebrating our big anniversary. Wonderful resort friendly staff ..took advantage of massage and some activities that were great. Liked the three resort access to give you more options. Liked the market grocery stores..prices were good and selection was good.

Last minute vacation

My husband and I decided last minute to go to Cancun. We were there Aug. 13-17, 2012. The Royal Caribbean was a very nice place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms were really nice, and cleaned thoroughly everyday. The outside grounds are well kept and they are always maintaining it. We had a problem with our air conditioner not working and our phone, but they got technicians on both problems and both were solved right away. Will stay here again or the other Royal hotels. Had a nice view of the pool and ocean. Looking forward to going back.

NIce family hotel

We stayed the week of July 13-20th, 2012. Our week was very pleasant. Our first day, we had a couple of issues with the fridge that was leaking and tub clogged, where you would take a shower and water would not go down, but very slowly and to top that off our toiled also got clogged up. We were only a family of 3. Was not upset at all, things happen. We called service and they right away came and fixed it all. So like I said it happens, If it happens at home, more likely it would happen at a hotel right? They do ask you do go on a "FREE" dinner to Playa del Carmen, which we totally new what that was for? Yes, timeshare, we opted not to go, they did call us a couple of times, but they were cool, we didn't feel pressured, but I just wish that they would just leave us alone, We are here for a family trip. It was our 4th time in Cancun. But I understand that they have to do their sales. So going back to hotel, beach is very beautiful and room was super clean and just loved it, furniture was not stained, almost new. I would definitely stay and recommend this hotel. : )

Family Spring Break 2012

We had the one bedroom king and the pull down twin beds(murphy beds) for the teenage girls in the living room area. These are way better than a pull out sofa. Be sure to return your pool towels they charge 11.00/ea. if you don't. I would also suggest a sweatshirt for the room at night. It's very humid and to keep the dampness out the AC has to be turned down. All rooms are ocean view, thats nice. We made the 30 minute bus trip to Walmart for basic foods but for all the hassle I would just pay a little more and use market on site. Great beach!

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

If your planning to do a Zipline canopy tour, try the Selvatica Tour. It's a short van ride and they are very friendly.
