Great Value

We were wary about staying at a hotel that we had not used before, yet we were very pleasantly surprise about how nice the hotel and its staff were to guests, regardless of country of origin. Everything went flawlessly and whatever questions we asked were met with a friendly smile and comprehensive response. We would recommend and stay at this hotel again.

No room upgrade

Usually this hotel is very accomadating and is located in tourist friendly area of the Zona Rosa or pink district. The beds were very hard and quite uncomfortable.

Very family friendly

Galeria Plaza, Mexico City. Was for my husband and I a I great experience!!! We went to Mexico City to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday and my birthday, wow what a celebration!. Next time I have the opportunity sure will celebrate anything there at Galeria Plaza, around the pool area in the P.H.. Perhaps a meeting with friends at the comfortable bar or just walk around and dine at the Italian Restaurant, there is so much to do there without leaving the place. We'll sure spend more time in our next visit to Mexico City and Galeria Plaza!!! The personal is awesome

Very conveniently located

The staff was always willing to help. One of the best things about this hotel is its location. One can get to many locations within minutes. We love the city and we like to visit places of interest. It's easy to obtain a taxi cab through the reception desk.

a hotel is not a coattail

Stayed while working, so not sure how convenient hotel is to tourist sites as i didn't go about much, but the staff was helpful, some very friendly. my only problem - and this is a problem which applies to many hotels - is that the only way to get air to circulate is to turn on the heat or air conditioner, the windows don't open, so it's either too hot or too cool. That re-circulating air is bad for allergies. however, this air circulation issue is a problem at most modern hotels and not specific to this location. so whaddya gonna do?

Helpful hotel staff

Galeroa Plaza Hotel was a very nice and tourist-friendly. Its location is very convenient for both business and leisure travlers. I liked the spaciaous room furnished with a very comfortable king-size bed, a refregirator with a wide selection of mini-bar drinks, and a simple yet beautiful decorative lamp. The hotel staff was very professional, efficient and helpful. Most of them speak fluent English and they accommodated our needs 100%. We highly recommend this hotel!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

We found an authentic Japanese restaurant near our hotel. Walk Varsovia street down toward Paseo de la Reforma, then Cross the Reforma to the other side. You'll see the sign Mikado. Sushi and Tempura are bery popular among local Mexican diners. But we recommend Gyoza and Yasai Itame (stir-fried vegetables).

Great all around Hotel

The Galeria Plaza is everything you'd expect from a 5 star Hotel! Very clean, helpful staff, great location, great restaurant, and a whole lot more. The room was very comfortable, clean sheets, nice bathroom, and sufficient drawer & closet space. The area is in a great location, very safe, & close enough to touristic sites & entertainment. I will definitely stay there again when traveling to Mexico City!

executive lounge

the executive lounge on the 11th floor was great except we had our room changed to an all ladies floor 9th as suggested by the check-in. I would have preferred to stay on the 11th floor because it would have been closer to the executive lounge
