Location, Location, Location
The GP is perfect for the new or returning visitor to Mexico City. With it's extremely convenient location, well-priced rooms, and very friendly staff, the hotel is a perfect option for the mid-range budget traveler who doesn't want to skimp on the important details (clean, efficient, presentable).

Great all around Hotel
The Galeria Plaza is everything you'd expect from a 5 star Hotel! Very clean, helpful staff, great location, great restaurant, and a whole lot more. The room was very comfortable, clean sheets,nice bathroom, and sufficient drawer & closet space. The area is in a great location, very safe, & close enough to touristic sites & entertainment. I will definitely stay there again when traveling to Mexico City!

Chapultepec park is in walkable distance, a must see for any tourist! Highly recommend Anthropology Museum and History Museum in the Castle. Also highly recommend checking out amazing pyramids at Teotihuacan. The hotel provides various tours to many of the main tourist attractions.

Modern hotel with nice d?cor
Liked the decor of alabaster tall lamps. Location was very convenient near the reforma and the Centro.. It was safe to walk at night, lots of police surveillance. Room was comfortable with a safe deposit box in the room, which was very helpful to keep passports etc. Overall was a good experience

Nightime dining with show was a convenient thing for us as we had a full day's tour to Taxco and Cuernavaca. We could quickly get ready and go to the shows on time.

Very conveniently located
The staff was always willing to help. One of the best things about this hotel is its location. One can get to many locations within minutes. We love the city and we like to visit places of interest. It's easy to obtain a taxi cab through the reception desk.

Great Value
We were wary about staying at a hotel that we had not used before, yet we were very pleasantly surprise about how nice the hotel and its staff were to guests, regardless of country of origin. Everything went flawlessly and whatever questions we asked were met with a friendly smile and comprehensive response. We would recommend and stay at this hotel again.

My review of Galeria Plaza
The Galeria Plaza Hotel was incredibly comfortable, clean and centrally located in the Zona Rosa section of Mexico City. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They helped with whatever I needed regarding travel arrangements and suggestions for local eateries. I would be honored to stay in this hotel again. Plus, the price was awesome.

Helpful hotel staff
Galeroa Plaza Hotel was a very nice and tourist-friendly. Its location is very convenient for both business and leisure travlers. I liked the spaciaous room furnished with a very comfortable king-size bed, a refregirator with a wide selection of mini-bar drinks, and a simple yet beautiful decorative lamp. The hotel staff was very professional, efficient and helpful. Most of them speak fluent English and they accommodated our needs 100%. We highly recommend this hotel!

We found an authentic Japanese restaurant near our hotel. Walk Varsovia street down toward Paseo de la Reforma, then Cross the Reforma to the other side. You'll see the sign Mikado. Sushi and Tempura are bery popular among local Mexican diners. But we recommend Gyoza and Yasai Itame (stir-fried vegetables).
